Maintaining a Positive Image, Bank DKI Wins the 2023 Indonesia Public Relations Awards

Jakarta – Bank DKI has achieved another proud achievement. Most recently, the research and media institution "Warta Ekonomi" appreciated Bank DKI as the recipient of the award for the category "Best Public Relations in Company Management on Expanding Banking Access and Services Through Collaboration With Various Stakeholders, (Category: Regional Bank)". This award was received directly by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, at the "Indonesia Public Relations Awards 2023", in Jakarta on Friday (24/02/2023).
This award achievement adds to the series of appreciation that Bank DKI has received at the beginning of 2023. Previously, Bank DKI had received 15 (fifteen) award categories. Among the special ones, Bank DKI was named The Best Regional Bank in Corporate Reputation 2023 by Infobank, and Indonesia Best BUMD Awards 2023 in Innovation and Create Appropriate Strategy by Warta Ekonomi. The President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, expressed his gratitude for the award, "This award is a valuable appreciation for the consistent implementation of Bank DKI's communication strategy in an effort to maintain the Company's positive image, which we realize through communication strategy innovation by adapting the latest communication trends. For your information, the 2023 Indonesia Public Relations Awards were given by Warta Ekonomi to corporate public relations (multi-industry), which has an excellent role and function to improve the quality of companies amidst increasingly tight industrial competition and Indonesia's economic conditions which are starting to improve. The assessment aspect is carried out using the quantitative descriptive desk research method to assess the company's financial performance based on published financial reports for 2021-2022, consisting of asset growth, income, profits, and important financial ratios including ROE, ROI, cash ratio, current ratio, ratio of own capital to total assets, as well as qualitative media monitoring by analyzing the number of positive reports related to company performance, including media impressions, social media shares and engagement, improved brand awareness, and expert panels.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that this award motivates Bank DKI to continue to innovate and increase the competitiveness of products and services. Achieving Proud Business Performance in 2022
Bank DKI closed 2022 with excellent financial performance. This can be seen from the increase in credit distribution throughout 2022, growing by 23.53% to IDR 48.37 trillion in December 2022, from IDR 39.16 trillion in the previous year. This credit growth is supported by excellent asset quality, with the improvement in the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio indicator to 1.75% in December 2022 from 2.98% in December 2021. Meanwhile, Third Party Funds (DPK) grew 12.82% to IDR 65.10 trillion in December 2022 from IDR 57.71 trillion in December 2021. These various impressive performance achievements have driven an increase in profits. Bank DKI's net in December 2022 will be IDR 939.11 billion, which is the Company's highest profit achievement since its founding. Profit grew 29.11% compared to the December 2021 period of IDR 727.36 billion. This is also supported by an increase in total assets of 11.51% to IDR 78.88 trillion in December 2022, from IDR 70.74 trillion in the same period the previous year.
In closing, Arie explained that along with business growth, Bank DKI also achieved brilliant achievements with a total of 34 (thirty four) awards throughout 2022, including being named the 20 best banks in Indonesia in 2022 (World's Best Banks) according to Forbes magazine; President Director of Bank DKI Entered the TOP 100 CEOs 2022 according to Infobank magazine; TOP BUMD 2022 as BPD with "Excellent" predicate in the KBMI 2 Bank category with assets of IDR 50 trillion to.
