Director of Finance & Strategy at Bank DKI Romy Wijayanto (right) received an award given by the CEO of The Iconomics, Bram S. Putro (center) and Chief Editor of The Iconomics, Arif Hatta (left) for Bank DKI Syariah's performance as Top Sharia Business Unit in KBMI 2 Category organized by The Iconomics, at the 3rd Indonesia Syariah Awards 2023 in Jakarta on Friday (17/02/2023). Awards are given to sharia financial services companies, both Sharia Business Entities (BUS) and Sharia Business Units (UUS) with good financial performance and major contributions to increasing national sharia financial inclusion in 2022. The main aspect assessed is the achievement of business performance, which includes total assets, liabilities, equity, comprehensive profit, ROA, ROE, as well as considering the level of net income growth achieved.

Since 2021, Bank DKI has implemented the Transformation 5.0 Program including the implementation of the Dual Banking Leverage Model (DBLM) in 2022, namely Bank DKI Conventional Branch Offices and Sub-Branch Offices can serve and process financing such as KUR, investment financing, working capital, retail and micro, as well as iB Consumer, including savings, current accounts and deposit services, so that sharia performance growth increases.

Bank DKI's financial performance up to the end of 2022 recorded an increase in net profit to IDR 939.11 billion, growing 29.11% compared to the December 2021 period of IDR 727.36 billion. With total assets growing 11.51% to IDR 78.88 trillion compared to IDR 70.74 trillion in the same period the previous year. With the NPL being 1.75% down from 2.98% in December 2021. The ROE ratio reached 10.10%, higher than the previous 7.96% in December 2021, BOPO was maintained at 78.19%.

The performance of Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit also showed very good growth in 2022. Distribution of sharia financing up to December 2022 amounted to IDR 7.41 trillion, an increase of 15.81% from IDR 6.39 trillion in December 2021. This increase is in line with the increase in DPK collection for the Sharia segment of IDR 6.38 trillion in December 2022, an increase of 11.56% from IDR 5.72 trillion in December 2021.
