The Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) DKI Jakarta emphasized the importance of synergy between Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) because of the interconnectedness between regionally owned companies and each other. "BUMD Synergy is of course very important, because BUMD activities are related to each other," said the Chair of TGUPP DKI Jakarta, Amin Subekti at the All-Indonesia BPD Seminar and DKI Jakarta BUMD Synergy in Jakarta, Saturday.
Amin gave an example of this synergy regarding payments, for example BUMD PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol where incoming and outgoing payment transactions are large so it is very important that management is synergized. "Then financing, for example PD Dharma Jaya needs financing for working capital to buy meat from the region, PT Food Station Media Jaya needs financing for working capital and investments that will be made, then for procuring products such as rice, eggs, onions, chilies and so on. So everything is interrelated and supports the interests of Jakarta," he said.
Meanwhile, Bank DKI President Director Zainuddin Mappa said that this BUMD synergy had been the focus of Bank DKI for three years with a transaction value of up to IDR 3 trillion until 2019. "Until 2019, the transaction value was up to IDR 3 trillion, but transactions with the entire ecosystem were very large," said Zainuddin.
"In the future, we will follow the planning carried out by each BUMD. For example, the MRT which will build the Ujung Menteng to Kalideres line, we will also invite other BPDs to participate through syndication, but the amount depends on how much funding is needed and the readiness of the BPD itself," said Zainuddin.
The types of synergy between Bank DKI and BUMD in Jakarta include synergy in the transportation sector by accommodating non-cash services with JakCard on TransJakarta, MRT, Railink and commuter lines. Then there is the synergy between BUMD in the food security sector with Food Station by providing Trader Cards at Cipinang Market, together with Pasar Jaya by providing Monas Savings for Grocery Business.
Synergy between BUMD in the UMKM sector with the UMKMP Service and the DKI Jakarta Industry Service for credit programs for Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) participants. Then, there is a synergy between BUMD in the Tourism Sector with PT Jakarta Tourisindo to utilize banking services and hotel services by providing financing access facilities and e-channel services such as the Cash Management System (CMS), banking facility services in the form of opening savings, deposit and checking accounts as well as providing Multi-Purpose Credit and Home Ownership Credit (KPR) facilities to PT Jakarta Tourisindo employees.
