As DKI Jakarta BUMD, Bank DKI continues to be committed to supporting DKI Jakarta Provincial Government programs through various innovations in digital products and services. This was conveyed by the Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono in a written statement in Jakarta, (22/6).

Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono said, "Accompanying the momentum of DKI Jakarta's 495th anniversary, Bank DKI is actively carrying out digital innovation as a foundation for future growth by carrying out digitalization which is considered an enabler for the company's business transformation, from a savings bank (product centric) to a transaction bank (customer centric), which provides solutions to customer needs."

Bank DKI's series of digitalization processes/milestones began in 2007, at which time Bank DKI launched JakCard as a prepaid smart card which is used as a means of payment for various transactions at merchants that have collaborated with Bank DKI, including as e-tickets for various integrated modes of public transportation in DKI Jakarta.

Amirul added, "With the spirit of collaboration, people who want to use public transportation such as TransJakarta, Mikro Trans, JakLingko public transportation, MRT Jakarta, LRT, and the airport train/Railink can now use JakCard." Even now, JakCard can also be used in various tourist areas belonging to the DKI Provincial Government such as Ragunan Wildlife Park, Monas, Planetarium, Ancol and various museums.

"As a bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, it is an invaluable honor for Bank DKI to support various e-money card based DKI Jakarta Provincial government aid distribution programs such as the Jakarta Smart Card, the Jakarta Excellent Student Card, the Jakarta Elderly Card, the Jakarta Disability Card, and other social assistance cards," said Amirul.

Now, Bank DKI is increasingly adaptive to meet the needs of customers who demand ease of service through digital service transformation. Through the JakOne Mobile application, Bank DKI presents digital banking solutions for customer users to create a more personal, mobile and reliable transaction experience starting from paying various bills and shopping online, Scan by QRIS transactions, top up electronic money, giving alms/donations to others to securing emergency funds through opening deposits, to opening savings accounts online anywhere and anytime.

Until the May 2022 period, QRIS transactions via JakOne Mobile Bank DKI grew 561% (yoy) to IDR 15 billion compared to the May 2021 period of IDR 2 billion. Apart from QRIS transactions, as of May 2022, the number of JakOne Mobile users has also reached 1.7 million users, with a nominal transaction amount reaching IDR 1.3 trillion, and a transaction volume reaching 1.6 million transactions.

Apart from JakOne Mobile, the company also continues to develop a non-cash ecosystem for customers through various applications that have been launched through JakOne Community Apps, as an effort to improve digital banking services to various communities in DKI Jakarta and its surroundings. The JakOne Community Apps themselves consist of JakOne Mobile, JakOne Abank, JakOne Erte, JakOne Artri, and Ancol Apps. Most recently, Bank DKI also presented a cardless Mobile Cash Withdrawal service and a Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) at the New Flagship Branch at the DKI Jakarta City Hall service office.

In terms of digitizing MSMEs, Bank DKI also invites MSME players to develop their businesses by becoming agents through the JakOne Abank application. JakOne Abank is an office-less banking service where Bank DKI is present through an agent using a Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) device for paying taxes and levies, paying bills. By becoming a JakOne Abank agent, MSMEs can serve various banking transactions and earn commissions from each transaction.

As a bank that gives full attention to the development of MSMEs, Bank DKI is also developing a Digital Lending application as a solution to provide access to capital for business actors. "We developed the Bank DKI Digital Lending application to maximize the implementation of financial inclusion for MSME players, so we hope they can have wider space to develop their business, of course this is a good thing for accelerating economic growth, especially in DKI Jakarta."

JakOne Pay, Simple Apps Gen Z Bank DKI

If JakOne Mobile is present as a super app, Bank DKI also presents JakOne Pay as a simple app for the young millennial generation and Gen Z which can be used to carry out various daily transactions. This application supports transactions to scan to pay QRIS, as well as other server based electronic money activities.
