Bank DKI Distributes Aid to Fire Victims in Manggarai District, South Jakarta

Jakarta - As a form of concern for the victims of the fire disaster in the Kampung Bali Matraman area, Manggarai District, South Jakarta and surrounding areas, Bank DKI Peduli handed over assistance in the form of food needs, such as instant food, and vitamins, clothing needs, such as clothes, toddler needs, educational needs such as bags, books, pens, and other daily necessities.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, through his written statement, expressed his concern over the disaster that befell the community in the Manggarai District area, South Jakarta and explained that this assistance was a form of Bank DKI's concern. "As a Bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, it is a concern for us to help alleviate the impact of the fire disaster on residents in Kampung Bali Matraman, Manggarai District," said Agus.

Agus added that "This assistance is provided as a form of Bank DKI's social responsibility to the affected communities. We hope that this assistance can provide encouragement to the community and help their needs during the difficult times they are facing," said Agus.

For information, as reported by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta Province and the DKI Jakarta Fire Department, the fire that occurred in Manggarai Village, Tebet District, South Jakarta in the early hours of Tuesday (13/8) affected 3,332 people from 1,172 heads of families from 21 RTs in RW 006 and RW 012 Manggarai Village, South Jakarta.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, on a different occasion added that through the Corporate Social Responsibility Program, Distribution of Assistance for Post-Fire Disaster Needs in the Manggarai District area, South Jakarta, it is hoped that it can provide support for the recovery process to the communities affected by the fire disaster.

"It is hoped that the provision of CSR assistance to residents in Manggarai Village will support post-disaster management and recovery, as well as benefit residents in the Kampung Bali Matraman area, Manggarai District and surrounding areas," concluded Arie.
