Bank Jakarta Collaborates with Jakmania to Realize Financial Inclusion

Jakarta – In an effort to expand access to financial services for the public, Bank Jakarta is presenting a financial inclusion event with the theme "From the Pitch to the Branch", which connects the spirit of sports with literacy and inclusion. This activity brought together Persija Jakarta players with the Jakmania supporter community at the Bank Jakarta branch office, Jakarta, on Wednesday (18/02).

Carrying the enthusiasm from the green field to the branch office, this event was held as a space for interaction as well as financial education for the community, especially football. Presenting a meet and greet and photo session with Persija players, this activity was also filled with banking education, as well as easy account opening and activation via mobile banking, JakOne Mobile at the event location.

The President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, through his official statement said that a community-based approach is one of Bank Jakarta's effective strategies in encouraging financial inclusion. "Through the theme From the Pitch to the Branch, we want to bring the energy and spirit of togetherness from the field into banking services. Financial inclusion means ensuring that every level of society, including the supporter community, has access to financial services that are safe, easy and useful," said Agus.

In this activity, Bank Jakarta also introduced its various products and services, such as the VISA Debit Card, opening a savings account, using QRIS for non-cash transactions, as well as using mobile banking for daily needs, especially through Persija players and the Jakmania community.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that the collaboration with Persija is a form of Bank Jakarta's support in building an inclusive and community-based financial ecosystem. "We view sport, especially football, as a powerful unifying medium for citizen interaction and activity. Through this collaboration, Bank Jakarta wants to ensure that financial inclusion is real, not only as a program, but as a joint movement to improve community welfare," explained Arie.

Previously, Bank Jakarta also established strategic collaboration with the Pelita Jaya Jakarta basketball club as part of efforts to expand the reach of literacy and access to financial services to the sports community and the younger generation.

Through this cross-sport collaboration, Bank Jakarta encourages the use of digital banking services in the competition environment, supports the related MSME ecosystem, and presents various financial education programs for the supporter community and young athletes.
