Bank DKI Wins Top BUMD Awards 2021

Bank DKI again won awards as Best BUMD TOP of the TOP BUMD 2021 and TOP #BPD – 5 Star at the 2021 TOP BUMD Awards organized by Top Business magazine, in collaboration with the Regional Autonomy Institute (I-OTDA). The award was received directly by the Director of MSE Credit and Sharia Business, Babay Parid Wazdi. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini, in his written statement in Jakarta (10/9).
The 2021 TOP BUMD award was given to Bank DKI based on the assessment results of a jury consisting of practitioners and business consultants. The variables assessed are the achievements, improvements and contributions of BUMDs related to performance, business, services and contribution to the regional economy. Herry stated, "representing all levels of Bank DKI management, we would like to express our gratitude for the appreciation that has been given, especially to all Bank DKI customers and work partners for their trust in using Bank DKI products and services so that Bank DKI can continue to grow amidst the Covid-19 pandemic."
Various quick policies implemented by Bank DKI in response to the Covid-19 pandemic have shown good results in terms of health and the company's business. "In 2021, Bank DKI's financial performance recorded positive performance growth, marked by the achievement of profits in Semester 1 2021 which grew by 40.8% year-on year (YoY) from IDR 279 billion as of June 2020 to IDR 394 billion as of June 2021," said Herry. He added, a number of other financial performance indicators of Bank DKI also experienced significant growth YoY as of June 2021. Several indicators experienced significant growth such as Third Party Funds (DPK), credit distribution and assets. Non-Performing Loans (NPL) also showed improved performance YoY as of June 2021.
As a bank whose majority share ownership is owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Bank DKI is committed to continuing to support various DKI Jakarta Provincial Government work programs and continuing to increase its role in supporting development in DKI Jakarta. This support includes collaborating with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and other partners in organizing various social programs such as Vaccination Centers, Mobile Vaccination Cars. Banks are also trusted to distribute various social assistance programs such as social cards such as Cash Social Assistance (BST), Jakarta Smart Card (KJP Plus), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) and Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ) as well as the Dasawisma program.
In order to continue the digital banking transformation that is beneficial to the community, especially in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI continues to be committed to developing innovative digital banking products and services through e-channel services such as JakOne Mobile, as an effort to meet the needs of modern society in transactions such as mobile banking, e-wallet, and QRIS scan-to-pay. Technical capacity continues to be increased, especially in technological infrastructure to support operational activities and future business development.
Bank DKI also continues to develop applications, networks, information innovation and technology systems through the development of community-based JakOne Mobile or community apps, including JakOne Artri, JakOne Erte, JakOne Ancol and SiOndel. Several applications developed based on JakOne Mobile aim to reach a wider community and provide convenience in the digital payment transaction process. Bank DKI also has card-based electronic money products, namely JakCard and JakLingko, which have been widely used as e-ticketing for transportation modes such as Transjakarta, MRT and LRT as well as entry access to various tourist attractions in Jakarta. "In the future, we hope that Bank DKI can continue to be the bank of choice for a developed and prosperous Jakarta," said Herry.
Apart from Bank DKI, a number of DKI Jakarta BUMDs also received awards, namely MRT, JIEP, Sarana Jaya, and Jaktour. This indicates the seriousness of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in developing BUMD in DKI Jakarta. The increasing achievements of DKI Jakarta BUMDs in the 2021 Top BUMD event has made the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, the Top BUMD Trustee for 2021.
