DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Encourages DKI Jakarta BUMDs to Increase Their Role as Development Agents in Jakarta

Jakarta – Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Joko Agus Setyono emphasized the important role of BUMD as agents of development for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in realizing the ideals of Jakarta as a Global City. "In every sector that we (BUMD) manage, be it transportation, banking, to tourism and cultural development, we (BUMD) bear the responsibility to build Jakarta as a competitive, inclusive and sustainable city," said Joko at the closing event of the 2024 BUMD Sports and Arts Week (PORSENI) which took place at the Jakarta International Stadium on Monday (04/11).

In his speech, the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Joko Agus Setyono also expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and sportsmanship shown by all participants. He emphasized the importance of PORSENI BUMD as a forum for strengthening brotherhood and synergy between DKI Jakarta BUMDs, "This event shows how important collaboration between BUMDs is in our joint efforts to build Jakarta as a Global City with Millions of Charms," ​​said Joko.

In line with that, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency (BP-BUMD), Nasruddin Djoko Surjono, also expressed his appreciation to all participants and expressed his hope that in the future PORSENI BUMD can continue to be an annual agenda. He also congratulated Bank DKI for becoming the General Champion at PORSENI BUMD 2024 and appreciated all the BUMD participants involved.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, expressed his gratitude for the support given to Bank DKI in organizing PORSENI BUMD 2024. The implementation of PORSENI BUMD 2024 is expected to strengthen togetherness between BUMD DKI Jakarta.
