Supporting Digitalization of Regional Hospital, Bank DKI Prepares Non-Cash Payment System for Koja Regional Hospital

Supporting the digitization of RSUD in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI is preparing an acceptance non-cash payment system for paying hospital bills for patients at RSUD Koja, Jakarta using Bank DKI's Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) and EDC machines. It is hoped that this non-cash payment system support will provide convenience for hospital managers and visitors. This was conveyed by the Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono after attending the Launching Ceremony of the Digitalization of Payment System at the Koja Regional General Hospital together with the North Jakarta City Secretary, Abdul Khalit and the Head of Koja Regional Hospital, Ida Bagus Nyoman Banjar in Jakarta, (20/04).

Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, said that this support includes providing payment platforms such as EDC machines for paying hospital bills for patients. Apart from EDC, Bank DKI is also implementing digitalization of payment transactions with Quick Response Indonesian Standard or QRIS. Hospital patients who have downloaded JakOne Mobile can immediately scan the QRIS available at the payment counter. The implementation of non-cash transactions via EDC and QRIS is expected to provide convenience and comfort for patients. Apart from EDC and QRIS, Bank DKI also provides ATM machines and has a scheduled Mobile Branch at Koja Regional Hospital.

Bank DKI has provided virtual account services through the Cash Management System which can be used to monitor and carry out financial transactions in real time and online and is connected to the hospital management information system. With Bank DKI's Cash Management System, it will make it easier for RSUD to obtain information on the position of funds from time to time and provide convenience in transactions via the banking system at any time online so that fund flow management can be done quickly and accurately.

Apart from being able to be used to pay hospital bills, JakOne Mobile can also be used to carry out transactions for daily needs at merchants who collaborate with Bank DKI. Bill payments ranging from electricity bills, telephone bills, drinking water, or other bills, such as cable TV, internet, education, to BPJS Health can now be done via JakOne Mobile.

Bank DKI continues to provide ecosystem-based digital banking services through JakOne Community Apps to accommodate changes in customer behavior and society which is increasingly moving towards digital services. JakOne Community Apps is a digital banking service to encourage the implementation of financial inclusion and through the development of digital products and services. The JakOne Community Apps themselves consist of JakOne Mobile, JakOne Abank, JakOne Erte, JakOne Artri, and Ancol Apps. Most recently, Bank DKI presented the Cardless Mobile Cash Withdrawal service and Cash Recycle Machine.

In the future, Bank DKI will continue to innovate digital banking services such as JakOne Pay and JakSchool as Bank DKI's efforts to continue to strengthen digital banking services to various communities in DKI Jakarta and complement the JakOne Community Apps that are currently available. Bank DKI will also launch JakOne Abank Mobile with the aim of encouraging the implementation of financial inclusion and expanding payment acceptance for MSME players in DKI Jakarta and its surroundings.

Most recently, Bank DKI was included in the list of the 20 Best Banks in Indonesia as well as being included in the ranks of the World's Best Banks or Best Banks in the World in 2022 according to Forbes Magazine. This is thanks to growth in financial performance that is above the national banking industry average and various digital banking service innovation breakthroughs carried out by Bank DKI. In the future, Amirul hopes that all regional hospitals in the DKI Jakarta area can utilize Bank DKI's non-cash payment facilities to provide safe, healthy and fast services to the community.
