Bank DKI Provides Personal Protective Equipment to Tidung Island Medical Personnel

Supporting the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bank DKI donated hundreds of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Medical Personnel at a number of DKI Jakarta Regional Hospitals, including to the Community Health Center on Tidung Island, Seribu Islands DKI Jakarta. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta, (1/4).
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said, "The struggle of the medical team as the front guard against the Covid-19 virus is not easy, therefore Bank DKI gives its appreciation to Health institutions and medical personnel in preventing and curing the corona virus or Covid-19 with direct assistance in the form of providing Personal Protective Equipment to Medical Personnel in a number of DKI Jakarta Regional Hospitals.
The hospitals that have received PPE assistance from Bank DKI include Cengkareng Regional Hospital, and in the future this will be given to regional hospitals in DKI Jakarta as well as 20 (twenty) Community Health Centers spread across the DKI Jakarta area. "With the distribution of PPE equipment, it is hoped that it can reduce difficulties for medical personnel regarding the availability and procurement of medical equipment needed by hospitals," added Herry.
Herry added, "Apart from providing PPE, Bank DKI also distributed humanitarian donations amounting to IDR 190 million which were given to medical personnel which will be coordinated by the Health Service. We want them (Medical Team) who are at the forefront of dealing with the Covid-19 virus pandemic to have no difficulty in getting food. Indirect assistance through printing hundreds of information materials related to socializing the spread of the Corona Covid-19 virus was also provided by Bank DKI as a form of education to the public."
Urge Customers to Use Non-Cash Services
Bank DKI urges customers to make non-cash transactions using the JakOne Mobile application for individual customers and the Cash Management System for agency and corporate customers. "We urge this as a form of prevention and protection for Bank DKI customers and employees through limiting physical contact so that it can significantly reduce the spread of the Corona virus," said Herry.
For information, JakOne Mobile is a digital financial service application consisting of mobile banking and a digital wallet that can be used to carry out transactions for daily needs at various merchants collaborating with Bank DKI. Customers can make transfer transactions between accounts or between banks, pay various bills from home using JakOne Mobile.
Bank DKI also invites customers and all levels of society to help the victims of Covid-19 and handle the prevention of the spread of Covid-19. "These funds will later be used to support efforts to prevent and handle the spread of Covid-19. Let's spread the common good by sharing with others through Bank DKI Peduli with accounts 101.20.12345.5 and 701.07.00003.0 for Bank DKI Syariah accounts," concluded Herry.
