Bank Jakarta Distributes 56,351 New Recipients of PKD Social Assistance for DKI Jakarta Provincial Government

Jakarta – Supporting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program, Bank Jakarta is again distributing social assistance for Fulfillment of Basic Needs to a total of 56,351 new recipients in 5 areas of DKI Jakarta and the Thousand Islands, consisting of 38,414 recipients of the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), 4,489 recipients of the KPDJ Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ), and 13,448 recipients of the Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ). The symbolic handover of the aid was handed over directly by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, to representatives of the beneficiary, which was carried out at Balai Agung, City Hall of DKI Jakarta on Friday (02/08).

Governor Pramono Anung said the Provincial Government (Pemprov) had again distributed social assistance (bansos) to 56,351 new beneficiaries, as part of a program to fulfill basic needs focused on the elderly, people with disabilities and children. "I am grateful to be able to gather together to distribute this social assistance. This is the main priority in the government that I lead," he said at the City Hall Building, Central Jakarta, Friday (8/8/2025).

"Each recipient will receive IDR 350,000 per month, directly distributed to their respective accounts, with ATM card distribution scheduled from 8 to 31 August 2025 in five administrative regions and the Thousand Islands," continued Pramono.

Apart from that, Governor Pramono also explained the benefits of the Jakarta Elderly Card which not only provides cash assistance, but also provides free access to Transjakarta and MRT services.

"Many don't know, riding Transjakarta and MRT is free for Elderly Card holders. I invite everyone to take advantage of this facility. Including people with disabilities who now have a special space in every Transjakarta fleet," he explained.

For information, Bank Jakarta provides convenience and comfort for beneficiaries in accessing and managing social assistance funds through the JakOne Mobile digital banking application. With this application, beneficiaries can carry out non-cash transactions, check aid balances, and enjoy other financial services. "Through the integration of digital services, we want to ensure that social assistance can be accessed more efficiently and safely," added Agus.

Distribution activities The distribution of KLJ, KPDJ and KAJ social assistance is part of a series of distribution of Social Assistance to Fulfill Basic Needs (PKD) carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

For people who have previously received assistance but have not received it back this year, they can check the status of the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) via the official website https://dtks.jakarta.go.id/ or contact the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Social Service, Iqbal Akbarudin, expressed his appreciation to all parties, starting from the Governor, DPRD, mayor and regent, social assistants, to Bank Jakarta, who have worked together to make this program a success.

"It is hoped that the distribution of social assistance will be able to strengthen the social resilience of Jakarta residents as well as reinforce the regional government's commitment to creating justice and prosperity for all levels of society," he concluded.
