Bank DKI Leads Syndicated Credit for BFI Finance Worth IDR 1.6 Trillion

Jakarta, 23 September 2022 – In the shared spirit of expanding access to credit distribution through synergy and collaboration, PT Bank DKI and PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk signed a syndicated credit agreement worth IDR 1.6 trillion today. In this syndication, Bank DKI was appointed as the Mandated Lead Arranger as well as the Facility Agent, Guarantee Agent and Escrow Agent together with three other Regional Development Banks (BPD), namely Bank Jatim, Bank Papua and Bank Kalsel.
The signing of the Syndicated Credit Agreement was signed by Herry Djufraini as Commercial and Institutional Director of Bank DKI, Sudjono as Financial Director of BFI Finance Indonesia, F. Zendrato as Main Director of Bank Papua, Hanawijaya as Main Director of Bank Kalsel, and Mukhlison as Head of the Corporate & Syndicated Commercial Credit Division of Bank Jatim. The signing of the agreement was also witnessed by Fidri Arnaldy as President Director of Bank DKI and Francis Lay Sioe Ho as President Director of PT BFI Finance Indonesia.
Commercial and Institutional Director of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini expressed his thanks and appreciation to Bank Jatim, Bank Papua and Bank Kalsel who have participated and for PT BFI Finance Indonesia's trust in Bank DKI which has been appointed as Mandated Lead Arranger, "this syndicated credit distribution can be a stimulus for increasingly better economic growth".
With a total credit distribution of IDR 1.6 trillion, in detail Bank DKI distributed a portion of IDR 500 billion, Bank Jatim and Bank Papua each IDR 400 billion and Bank Kalsel IDR 300 billion. Herry added, "BFI Finance Indonesia's existence and its performance achievements which continue to grow positively are certainly worthy of appreciation, especially in the midst of conditions in Indonesia which is currently in the momentum of economic revival and recovery as a result of the controlled Covid-19 pandemic."
Meanwhile, President Director of BFI Finance, Francis Lay Sioe Ho, expressed his appreciation for the support of creditors who have trusted BFI Finance as a business partner that grows and develops together to increase national financial inclusion. "This facility will be used to support financing activities in all regions in Indonesia and will be used to help achieve our company's financing growth target which is predicted to exceed 25% by the end of 2022 and is projected to continue to grow in the coming years.
Herry added, "Currently Bank DKI continues to accelerate credit distribution, which grew by 20.15% in the second quarter of 2022 to IDR 43.64 trillion compared to IDR 36.32 trillion in the second quarter of 2021. Credit growth occurred in all segments, with the micro segment having the highest growth percentage of 34.77% in the second quarter of 2022."
In line with its performance growth, Bank DKI also received a number of awards in 2022, including the title of 15 Best Banks according to Forbes Indonesia Magazine and being the only BPD in this award, the 27th Infobank Awards in the Special Performance Bank category in the Core Capital Bank Group (KBMI) 2 category with assets of IDR 50 trillion to under IDR 100 trillion, the Golden Trophy (performance predicate "Very Good" for 5 consecutive years and the performance predicate "Very Good" category KBMI 2 (Assets IDR 50 Trillion to Under IDR 100 Trillion) to the 2022 TOP GRC Awards as well as other awards in the fields of human resources, technology, digital banking, SME Financing, corporate image, and awards in the Sharia banking sector.
