Collaboration between BPD SI, Bank DKI Leads Syndicated Loans Worth IDR 1.5 Trillion for PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills

Jakarta - Bank DKI was appointed as the mandated lead arranger or syndication lead bank, collaborating with a number of Regional Development Banks throughout Indonesia (BPD-SI) in the context of distributing syndicated credit worth IDR 1.5 trillion (One Trillion Five Hundred Billion Rupiah) to PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills. Apart from being appointed as the mandated lead arranger, Bank DKI also acts as a Facility Agent, Guarantee Agent and Escrow Agent together with 8 (eight) other BPDs, namely Bank Jatim, Bank Sumut, Bank Papua, Bank Sulselbar, Bank Kalsel, Bank Kalteng, Bank NTT and Bank Lampung.

The signing of the Syndicated Credit Agreement which was carried out in Jakarta (14/12) was signed by Herry Djufraini as Commercial and Institutional Director of Bank DKI, and Arman Sutedja as Director of PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills as well as representatives from other syndicated participating BPDs. Apart from that, the Main Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, was also present to witness the signing.

On the same occasion, the Main Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, expressed his thanks and appreciation to BPD SI who are members of this syndicated credit collaboration. "This BPD SI collaboration is expected to be a stimulus amidst the ongoing economic improvements," said Fidri.

Bank DKI Commercial and Institutional Director, Herry Djufraini explained in detail that Bank DKI distributed a portion of IDR 425 billion, Bank Jatim IDR 300 billion, Bank North Sumatra and Bank Papua IDR 200 billion each, Bank Sulselbar and Bank Kalsel IDR 100 billion each, Bank Kalteng IDR 75 billion, and Bank NTT and Bank Lampung IDR 50 billion each. Herry added, "Our appreciation goes to PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills for being able to innovate and continue to grow amidst global economic challenges and intense levels of industrial competition."

Meanwhile, the Director of PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills, Arman Sutedja, expressed his appreciation for the support of creditors who have given trust to PT Oki Pulp and Paper Mills as a business partner that grows and develops in running a long-term business. "We hope that the collaboration that exists between PT Oki Pulp and Paper and the Sinarmas Group together with all BPDs will not just stop here, but will be sustainable"

For information, throughout 2022, under the leadership of the President Director, Fidri Arnaldy, Bank DKI continues to carry out expansive business improvements, this is proven by the success of Bank DKI in posting positive performance, especially in terms of credit growth. It was recorded that in the third quarter of 2022, Bank DKI was able to record credit growth of 26.82% (YoY) from IDR 36.9 trillion in September 2021, to IDR 46.7 trillion in September 2022. This credit growth also contributed to Bank DKI's net profit growth of 28.83% (YoY), from IDR 564 billion in September 2021, to IDR 726 billion in September. 2022.

Furthermore, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that the signing of this syndicated credit adds to the length of Bank DKI's portfolio in leading syndicated loans, as most recently Bank DKI also acted as the Mandated Lead Arranger of syndicated loans for BFI Finance worth IDR 1.6 Trillion. "This is a sign that Bank DKI is increasingly trusted and open to collaboration on a wider scale," concluded Arie.
