Collaboration between the Regional Financial Management Agency of DKI Jakarta Province and Bank DKI, Launches Regional Treasury Service Transformation
Jakarta, October 17 2023Jakarta – The Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) of DKI Jakarta Province is collaborating with Bank DKI in the context of transforming regional treasury services in DKI Jakarta, one of which is through the launch of the Bank Account Management Information System (siMerak) which was held in Jakarta, on Monday (16/10). The ceremony was also attended by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Joko Agus Setyono, Head of Bank Indonesia Representative for DKI Jakarta Province, Arlyana Abubakar, Director of Technology and Operations and Acting Main Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, as well as officials from the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta and Bank DKI.
The Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, explained that the transformation of regional treasury services is a collaboration that must continue for the sake of transparent and accountable financial management. "Let's make optimal use of the new regional treasury services to improve the quality of the financial management system within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and become an example for other government agencies," said Heru.
Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD), Michael Rolandi C. Brata, explained that in the context of transforming regional treasury services, the Regional Treasury and Cash Sector has made several breakthroughs, one of which is the siMerak Application which functions for account management which includes opening, closing, monitoring status and balances in real time and calculating current account services as well as the online process for proposing KPA and treasurer determinations. "Bank DKI helps us (BPKD DKI Jakarta) with transparency in the management of bank accounts and treasurers, so that transactions that are not authorized by the SKPD leadership can be traced." Michael explained.
Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Principal Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, through an official statement said, "Participation in the Regional Treasury Service Transformation program through the Bank Account Management Information System (siMerak) application is clear evidence of our commitment to continue to support the improvement of regional treasury services at the Regional Financial Management Agency of DKI Jakarta Province. Arie continued, Bank DKI's support for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in terms of regional financial management is also realized through the electronification of budget management of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Regional Work Units (SKPD), through Bank DKI's Cash Management System (CMS).
