Bank DKI Commits to Supporting Jakarta's Transformation Towards a Global City

Jakarta – In order to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening synergy and contribution with stakeholders to encourage the achievement of Jakarta's vision as a Global City, Bank DKI held a PT Bank DKI 2025 Workshop and Working Meeting with the theme "Rising to the New Height: Collaborative, Contributive and Competitive" in Jakarta on Saturday (18/1), which was officially opened by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi. The event was also attended by the ranks of Commissioners and Directors of Bank DKI, Bank DKI officials at Group Leader level, Leaders and Deputy Heads of Branches and Sub-Branchs, as well as representatives of Bank DKI employees. This workshop is an important momentum for Bank DKI in strengthening its role as a financial institution that is solution, inclusive and credible.

The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, in the opening session of the Workshop said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to strengthening Jakarta's position to become one of the 20 Global Cities by 2045, as part of the Regional Long Term Development Plan (RPJPD) 2025-2045.

"This commitment requires strengthening synergies and contributions from various stakeholders and elements of society, including Bank DKI, as a BUMD which has a strategic role in strengthening the economic sector as one of the main pillars of Jakarta's development," said Teguh.Pj. The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi also hopes that Bank DKI can continue to strengthen its position as a strategic partner of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in supporting the achievement of Jakarta City development targets, through inclusive financial service innovation and increasing competitiveness amidst an increasingly dynamic banking industry.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, expressed his appreciation for the support of Acting. Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi.
