For achieving positive financial performance, Bank DKI won the "Very Good" financial performance title in the Bank BUKU 3 category and the golden trophy from Infobank Magazine at the 26th Infobank Awards 2021. This award was given to Bank DKI because it managed to record good performance and superior financial aspects based on the results of an independent survey by the Infobank Research Bureau. "Bank DKI expresses its thanks to all stakeholders for the awards given," said Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini, in a written statement in Jakarta (7/9).
This award was received directly by Plt. Bank DKI President Director Romy Wijayanto at the 26th Infobank Awards 2021 awarding ceremony which was held online on Tuesday (7/9). This award is based on the positive growth of a number of Bank DKI financial performance indicators in 2020 which continues. "In 2021, Bank DKI's financial performance recorded positive performance growth, marked by the achievement of profits in Semester 1 2021 which grew by 40.8% year-on year (YoY) from IDR 279 billion as of June 2020 to IDR 394 billion as of June 2021," said Herry.
Herry added, a number of other financial performance indicators of Bank DKI also experienced significant growth YoY as of June 2021. Several indicators experienced significant growth such as Third Party Funds (DPK), credit distribution and assets. Non-Performing Loans (NPL) also showed improved performance YoY as of June 2021.
Furthermore, he also said that this good financial performance cannot be separated from optimizing the growth of cheap funds, especially by utilizing customers through Bank DKI JakOne Mobile mobile banking during the pandemic. Restrictions on people's mobility have changed consumer behavior, such as a shift towards digital services. This also encourages banks to adapt to meet customer needs.
Bank DKI has grown to become the people's choice in meeting their digital banking needs. JakOne Mobile is the people's choice for making transfers between accounts, paying bills, purchasing, and donating to others. Apart from that, the JakCard electronic payment card is also increasingly being used in various public transportation facilities such as Transjakarta, Mikro Trans, LRT, MRT and Railink Airport Train. JakCard can also be used at tourist attractions such as Ragunan Wildlife Park, Monas, museums managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and Taman Impian Jaya Ancol.
"This "very good" predicate also proves that Bank DKI is able to adapt in the midst of a pandemic by recording sustainable performance growth," concluded Herry.
