Encouraging Non-Cash Transactions, Bank Jakarta Supports Payment Systems at the Jakarta Prime Ramadan Bazaar 2026

Jakarta – Bank Jakarta's commitment to encouraging the acceleration of non-cash transactions while strengthening financial literacy and inclusion, this time is realized through payment system support at the 2026 Jakarta Prime Ramadan Bazaar organized by Perumda Pasar Jaya. This activity takes place from 9 s.d. March 10 2026 at the DKI Jakarta City Hall Yard, presenting various culinary, fashion and social activity tenants targeting the younger generation and the general public.

Bank Jakarta's participation in this activity is part of efforts to support the transformation of the digital payment ecosystem in people's economic spaces, especially in bazaar activities and MSME activities. By providing non-cash transaction facilities, Bank Jakarta encourages people to become more accustomed to using digital payment methods that are safe, practical and transparent.

The President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, through his official statement on Monday (09/03) said that Bank Jakarta's involvement in this activity was part of the company's strategy to expand the use of digital payment systems in various community economic activities.

"Bank Jakarta is committed to continuing to encourage a non-cash transaction ecosystem that is inclusive and easily accessible to all levels of Jakarta society. By supporting the payment system at the Jakarta Prime Ramadan Bazaar, we want to provide a more practical transaction experience for the community while expanding access to financial services for MSMEs," said Agus.

Agus added that digitizing transactions not only provides convenience for consumers, but also helps MSME business actors increase the efficiency of financial recording, expand market reach, and strengthen transaction transparency.

The 2026 Jakarta Prime Ramadan Bazaar was held as a space for economic and social interaction which presented various F&B and fashion tenants from Pasar Jaya partners, a basic food redemption program at affordable prices, and entertainment for the community during the holy month of Ramadan. The concept of this event also emphasizes collaboration between MSME players, entertainment and social activities in the form of compensation for orphans, which aims to strengthen the role of markets as the center of an adaptive and inclusive people's economy.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, emphasized that this activity also aims to provide strategic value in increasing financial literacy and inclusion in society.

"Bank Jakarta's presence at this activity is not only focused on providing a payment system, but is also part of efforts to educate the public regarding the importance of using formal financial services and digital transactions wisely. This is in line with efforts to increase national financial literacy and inclusion," explained Arie.

According to Arie, bazaar activities involving MSMEs, communities and the wider community are the right momentum to introduce various digital banking services while expanding public access to safe and reliable financial services.

Furthermore, Bank Jakarta's support for the Jakarta Prime Ramadan Bazaar is also a form of synergy between the banking sector and market managers in strengthening digital-based economic transformation, as a form of Bank Jakarta's contribution in building an inclusive digital financial ecosystem, strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs, and providing a more comfortable transaction experience for the community, especially in supporting economic and social activities.
