Commercial & Institutional Director, Herry Djufraini said that high economic activity certainly has an impact on the environment and social, so that is where the role of CSR is needed. Jakonik members have been provided with training and assistance to maximize harvest yields and upstream and downstream management of the hydroponic business, with roles as a hydroponic marketing center, hydroponic business assistance center, educational service provider, facility and infrastructure provider (fertilizer, seeds and equipment).

The 2023 CSR Award is a form of appreciation from B-Universe (BTV Holding Group, Beritasatu.com, InvestorDaily, JakartaGlobe, Investor.id) to companies that have demonstrated superior and consistent CSR performance. Several indicators used as assessment criteria consist of relevance, impact, sustainability, transparency and collaborative networks. The B-Universe research team has curated more than 800 companies to be filtered into the best 100, until 30 companies from 23 sectors have been selected to be awarded in the best of the best category.

B-Universe President Commissioner Enggartiasto Lukita expressed the reason for holding this event to give the best appreciation to companies that are still consistently implementing their CSR programs, even though the current economic conditions are uncertain. "However, this CSR certainly helps strengthen communities that are weak, have no access, are disadvantaged, so that they survive, and even rise from adversity after being hit by Covid-19. The Indonesian culture that cannot be forgotten is togetherness, mutual cooperation. That is what makes the Indonesian economy strong and rising," added Enggar.

B-Universe News Director Apreyvita Wulansari hopes that the B-Universe CSR Award 2023 can provide motivation and inspiration to companies out there, to continue helping the community, and remain enthusiastic about fighting in the face of economic uncertainty.
