Bank Jakarta Distributes Aid to Friends with Disabilities Assisted by YaSDI

JAKARTA – Realizing social care for friends with disabilities, Bank Jakarta distributed Training Support Assistance for friends with disabilities assisted by the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation. This assistance was given by the Compliance Director of Bank Jakarta, Ateng Rivai, symbolically to the Chair of Trustees of the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation, Suty Karno when visiting the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation (YaSDI) at the East Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD), Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Friday (24/4).

Director of Compliance at Bank Jakarta, Ateng RIvai, said that the provision of this assistance was part of a series of activities for Bank Jakarta's 65th Anniversary and as a concrete manifestation of Bank Jakarta's concern for empowering the community, especially people with disabilities, in improving skills, economic independence and competitiveness in the world of work.

Ateng also said that this activity was part of the company's commitment to providing inclusive social benefits, while emphasizing that Bank Jakarta's anniversary was not only celebrated ceremonially, but was also realized through real actions that had a sustainable social impact on the community. "On the occasion of Bank Jakarta's 65th anniversary, we want to share wider benefits. This support is a form of our concern for friends with disabilities so that they have better access to training, skills and opportunities to be independent," said Ateng.

According to Ateng, empowering vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, is an important part of equitable development. Therefore, Bank Jakarta wants to continue collaborating with various parties to encourage the creation of an inclusive ecosystem. The visit of Bank Jakarta as well as the provision of assistance was enthusiastically welcomed by the Chairman of the Trustees of the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation, Suty Karno along with friends with assisted disabilities. Suty Karno expressed his appreciation for Bank Jakarta's concern which was considered to provide real encouragement for developing the capacity of the training participants.

"We welcome and are grateful for Bank Jakarta's attention. This assistance is very meaningful to support training facilities and strengthen the empowerment program that we run for friends with disabilities," he said. For your information, the Indonesian Disabled Solidarity Foundation (YaSDI) is a foundation that focuses on empowerment and solidarity for people with disabilities in Indonesia. Founded by Suty Karno, this foundation is active in collaborating on job training, social activities and creating an inclusive environment. YASDI routinely carries out activities to improve work abilities and skills for people with disabilities, including job training, hearings with the government, as well as social actions such as mass circumcisions for people with disabilities.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said that this social activity was one of a series of Bank Jakarta Anniversary celebrations which focused on caring, collaboration and community empowerment, including disability groups as an important part of inclusive development.
