Expanding Digital Payment Acceptance, Bank DKI Launches JakOne Abank

Encouraging the implementation of financial inclusion in DKI Jakarta, Bank DKI launched JakOne Abank at Pasar Santa, South Jakarta, which is a pilot project for market digitalization through the SIAP QRIS program promoted by Bank Indonesia. The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, Head of the Regional Representative Office of Bank Indonesia DKI Jakarta, Onny Widjanarko, Deputy Director of Banking Supervision 3 and Licensing of the Financial Services Authority, Herlina Tampubolon, Main Director of PT Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, Main Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Arief Nasrudin, Administrative Mayor of South Jakarta, Munjirin, Head of the PPKUKM Service, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Deputy Head of the Department DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation, Chair of the South Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Akhmad Lafranta in Jakarta, (25/11).
Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy said, "JakOne Abank is an office-less banking service where Bank DKI is present through an Agent using a Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) device for paying taxes and levies, paying bills. By becoming a JakOne Abank, customers/traders who become Agents can serve various banking transactions from the public and get a commission from each transaction."
Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria said, "In line with digitalization in various sectors, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta welcomes the collaboration between Bank Indonesia with Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya in the context of launching JakOne Abank and SIAP QRIS as a glue that supports market digitalization and the realization of Jakarta Smart City 4.0. Today JakOne Abank and SIAP QRIS can begin to be used in buying and selling transactions at Santa Market managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya through the use of JakOne Abank and SIAP QRIS by market traders, it is hoped that this will help support the program to accelerate regional financial access through financial digitalization."
Meanwhile, Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Bank Indonesia Representative Office, Onny Widjanarko said that thanks to good collaboration, the DKI Jakarta Province government's transaction electronification index managed to record 90% or the highest in Indonesia. He also expressed his appreciation and thanks to Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya who have high enthusiasm for digitizing payments to traders at Santa market.
At Santa Market currently, there are 1,151 stalls, and currently the number of active traders is 510 traders which can be a potential for digitalizing the market through JakOne Abank. As of October 2021, Bank DKI has 17 thousand merchants who have joined Bank DKI's JakOne Mobile QRIS service, with a total of 874 thousand transactions with a transaction nominal reaching IDR 20 billion.
"Hopefully the launch of JakOne Abank and SIAP QRIS can bring benefits to all of us, especially to MSME players, as well as citizens who make it easier to make transactions in the market through digital banking services and is a Smart City 4.0 application for Jakarta as a Collaborating City," concluded Fidri.
