Encouraging Increased Consumer Credit, Bank DKI Collaborates with Transjakarta Employee Consumer Cooperative (KOPKARTRANS)

Jakarta – Bank DKI is building synergy with the Transjakarta Employee Consumer Cooperative (KOPKARTRANS) in terms of utilizing Bank DKI products and services, including in the consumer segment, namely Multi-Purpose Credit/Financing products (KMG/KMG iB) and Home Ownership Credit (KPR). This synergy is Bank DKI's effort to improve Bank DKI's credit and financing performance, especially for the consumer segment. Acting (Plt.) President Director of Bank DKI Amirul Wicaksono in a written statement in Jakarta (2/7) said that this synergy is expected to facilitate access to credit for Transjakarta employees through competitive and innovative credit/financing products. "In its role, Bank DKI supports the provision of competitive credit/financing products and fulfills the consumptive needs of Transjakarta employees," said Amirul.

The business collaboration between Bank DKI and KOPKARTRANS was also outlined in the signing of the Cooperation Agreement which was signed by the Leader of Bank DKI's Consumer Credit Group, Zulfikryshah, and the Chair of the Transjakarta Employee Consumer Cooperative (KOPKARTRANS), Arkadeus Hamudin which was also witnessed by the President Director of PT Transportation Jakarta, Welfizon Yuza and the Director of Finance, HR and Business Support of PT Transportation Jakarta, Mayangsari Dian Irwantari.

Chairman of KOPKARTRANS Arkadeus Hamudin in his statement said, KOPKARTRANS welcomed the synergy established with Bank DKI in terms of utilizing credit products and services in line with KOPKARTRANS' role in improving the welfare of Transjakarta employees. "We hope that this synergy will further increase the role of KOPKARTRANS, including in efforts to help improve the welfare of Transjakarta employees." Arkadeus said.

In line with this, the Director of Finance, Human Resources and Business Support of PT Transportation Jakarta, Mayangsari Dian Irwantari said that this collaboration between BUMDs is a good opportunity and synergy in the future. "With this collaboration, Transjakarta employees can have the opportunity to easily access banking products and services such as multi-purpose credit/financing and home ownership credit (KPR) from Bank DKI," said Mayangsari.

The Head of the Consumer Credit Group at Bank DKI, Zulfikryshah, said that Bank DKI continues to strive to expand the reach of credit products and services for the consumer segment through various collaborations with third parties. "Through the collaboration built, Bank DKI encourages the creation of inclusivity and easy access to banking products and services, especially credit and financing products for all people in Jakarta," said Zulfikryshah.

For information, Bank DKI has a number of credit and financing products that are also offered to Transjakarta employees, including Multi-Purpose Credit (KMG) which can be used for consumptive needs such as purchasing vehicles (including purchasing electric vehicles), education costs, religious tourism, and holidays. Apart from that, in terms of providing KPR products, Bank DKI also collaborates with various developers who provide subsidized and commercial type houses that can be owned by Transjakarta employees with affordable installment schemes.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said, to make it easier to apply for credit and financing products for customers, Bank DKI also provides digital-based services. "To make things easier, Bank DKI is also currently developing an online KMG application embedded in the JakOne Mobile application which can accommodate consumer credit applications anywhere at any time," concluded Arie.
