Bank DKI Supports Earth Hour

Supporting Earth Hour, Bank DKI will turn off the lights at the head office from 20.30 to 21.30 pm on Saturday, March 26 2022. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in a written statement in Jakarta, (27/3).
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said that Bank DKI's support for the Earth Hour program is the implementation of sustainable practices where Bank DKI is concerned with efforts to preserve the environment through energy saving actions and reducing carbon emissions to overcome climate change. Bank DKI continues to improve the integration of environmental aspects in operational activities and banking services.
Earth Hour itself is a global movement that seeks to invite individuals, communities, business practitioners and governments in various parts of the world to symbolically show their concern and contribution to efforts to overcome climate change.
DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan also invited residents of the capital city to turn off the lights for one hour on Saturday from 20.30 to 21.30 WIB. Apart from turning off the lights, Anies also invited people to turn off electronic devices that are not used for one hour. According to him, Jakarta together with 190 countries in the world are carrying out the "Earth Hour" program.
