Bank DKI Wins Three GRC Awards & Performance Excellence Award 2024

Jakarta – For its commitment to implementing the principles of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) in an integrated manner, as well as positive financial performance, Bank DKI won an award from Businessnews Indonesia media as The Best GRC for Corporate Governance 2024 in Banking Industries and The Best GRC for Corporate Finance 2024 in Banking Industries, at the GRC & Performance Excellence Award 2024 with the theme "The Vital Role & Effectiveness of GRC for Risks Mitigation in Global Economic Instability ESG Complexities and Cyber Breaches” which was held in Jakarta on Friday (30/8).

Even more proud, the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, also won the award as The Best Chief Executive Officer 2024 in Banking Industries for his leadership which was considered consistent in encouraging the implementation of GRC principles at Bank DKI, as well as encouraging various digital-based product and service innovations, as well as increasing Bank DKI's competitiveness in the national banking arena.

When receiving the award, President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, said that this award was an appreciation of Bank DKI's commitment to implementing GRC in an integrated manner at every level of the organization and every activity of the Company. "This award is the result of the hard work and commitment of the entire Bank DKI team who strives to implement good corporate governance and carry out various innovations to improve services to the community," said Agus.

Bank DKI succeeded in winning the award after going through a series of assessment processes carried out objectively and independently by a team of assessors and a jury of more than 300 companies from various industries. The aspects assessed include the company's financial performance in 2022 and 2023 as well as an assessment of the bank's health which refers to risk profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), profitability and capital. Bank DKI has also gone through a judging and interview process with a panel of judges who are professionals in the GRC field, including Ir. Irnanda Laksanawan, MSc Eng (MBM), PhD and Dr. Eddy Iskandar, B.Eng, MSc.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that the award received was a trigger for Bank DKI to always apply GRC principles and prudential company management in every step of its business, including always complying with applicable regulations in the banking industry. "Bank DKI will continue to be committed to implementing the principles of good governance and improving sustainable financial performance in order to provide added value for all stakeholders," concluded Arie.
