Making it easier to pay PKB in the midst of a pandemic, Polda Metro Jaya and Bank DKI launch the 'Si Ondel' application

Jakarta - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya is collaborating with Bank DKI as an aggregator to launch the Samsat online delivery application aka 'Si Ondel' which is one solution to make it easier for people to pay Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) in the midst of the pandemic. This was conveyed by the Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini in his written statement in Jakarta (23/9).
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said, "Si Ondel is one of three technology-based applications launched by the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya in collaboration with Bank DKI in paying motor vehicle tax as a response to the community situation in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic."
Herry added, This application makes it easier for people to pay motor vehicle tax during the pandemic. People do not need to queue and gather to take care of their taxes, thereby reducing the potential for spreading the Covid-19 virus through physical contact.
Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said, for the time being, the 'Si Ondel' application can only be used by Android-based smartphone users. This application was created to minimize the spread of the Corona virus.
"Ondel also supports the government's program to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by minimizing physical contact between taxpayers and Samsat officers," he said.
For your information, Si Ondel is a combination of e-Samsat features starting from annual tax payments to online payment of Vehicle Registration Certificate validation, followed by Proof of Full Payment Obligations (TBPKP) which will be delivered to the address designated by the taxpayer.
"We urge the public to use the JakOne Mobile banking application for non-cash transactions, as a form of prevention and protection from the potential spread of the Covid-19 virus. Apart from paying taxes, bills and donations, JakOne Mobile can be used for inter-bank transfers and other banking needs safely," concluded Herry.
