Jakarta Provincial Government and Bank Jakarta Receive Awards at Cita Loka Fest 2026

JAKARTA – The Jakarta Provincial Government and Bank Jakarta received awards at Cita Loka Fest 2026, organized by Tribun Network in Jakarta on Tuesday (June 24). The awards recognize their innovations and contributions to sustainable regional development, community empowerment, and economic strengthening through digital transformation.

At the event, the Jakarta Provincial Government received the Best Regional Government Award for Building Responsive Governance in recognition of its Jakarta Smart City innovation. The award was presented directly to Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung.

In his remarks, Pramono Anung emphasized that Jakarta's success should not be measured solely by infrastructure development, but also by the government's ability to listen to its citizens.

"For me, if Jakarta is to become a more advanced, safe, and comfortable city, the most important thing—besides developing its infrastructure—is listening to what its people want. Development is not merely about building physical infrastructure," Pramono said.

Meanwhile, Bank Jakarta received the Corporate Award for Advancing MSME Digital Empowerment in recognition of its commitment to supporting the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the Jakpreneur program and various sustainable digital initiatives. The award reflects Bank Jakarta's active role in expanding access to financing, improving financial literacy, and encouraging MSMEs to adopt digital technology.

Cita Loka Fest 2026 is a national collaborative forum held under the theme "Strengthening the Foundations for a Greener Indonesia." The forum brought together a broad range of stakeholders, including the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, provincial, regency, and municipal governments, international organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, and WHO, non-governmental organizations, universities, communities, MSMEs, and national companies from various industries.

Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H. Widodo expressed his appreciation for the recognition. According to him, the award serves as motivation for Bank Jakarta to continue delivering innovative banking services and financial solutions for MSMEs.

"This award motivates us to continue providing innovative banking services and solutions for MSMEs. Bank Jakarta will further strengthen its role as a strategic partner for MSMEs through a wide range of financing products, digital banking services, and collaborations with various stakeholders to create a more inclusive and competitive business ecosystem," Agus said.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that the awards received by the Jakarta Provincial Government and Bank Jakarta demonstrate a strong synergy in promoting sustainable regional development.

This recognition further strengthens our commitment to expanding financial access for MSMEs while encouraging the adoption of digital technology to enhance business competitiveness," Arie concluded.

As of the first quarter of 2026, Bank Jakarta's MSME loans and financing portfolio had reached Rp10.46 trillion, representing a 26.27% year-on-year (YoY) increase (unaudited). Of this total, 2,208 borrowers are entrepreneurs participating in the Jakpreneur program. This achievement reflects Bank Jakarta's continued commitment to supporting MSME development as a key driver of regional economic growth while contributing to Jakarta's vision of becoming an inclusive and globally competitive city.
