Consistently Continuing Transformation, Bank Jakarta Wins TOP BUMD Awards 2026

Jakarta – Bank Jakarta won a number of award categories at the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 event organized by Top Business Magazine together with the Regional Autonomy Institute (i-OTDA) and a number of independent institutions in Jakarta (13/4). This award is a positive appreciation amidst the transformation efforts that Bank Jakarta continues to carry out on an ongoing basis.

At the TOP BUMD Awards 2026, Bank Jakarta won the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 BPD 5 Star (Excellent) category, Agus Haryoto Widodo as President Director of Bank Jakarta was named TOP CEO BUMD 2026, and won a Golden medal. Apart from that, the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 also gives appreciation to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Pramono Anung as the TOP BUMD Trustee 2026.

The President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in a written statement expressed his gratitude to all customers and stakeholders for the trust given to Bank Jakarta as a spark for the spirit of continuous improvement. "It is a matter of pride for us to be able to continue to provide the best service and contribute to the development of the city of Jakarta," said Agus.

The TOP BUMD Awards 2026, which has been running since 2016, provides an assessment for BUMDs through a fairly strict selection process. The assessment stages include filling out a questionnaire, in-depth interviews, and a plenary session of the jury which determines the winners.

This award is given based on an objective and comprehensive assessment of aspects of business performance, innovation, governance, and contribution to regional economic development, of more than 1,170 BUMDs throughout Indonesia.

Agus further revealed that Bank Jakarta is currently focused on continuing its transformation agenda amidst the reality of the banking industry landscape which is changing very quickly. This is also accompanied by changes in customer behavior, technological developments, and increasingly open and aggressive competition. "Expectations for Bank Jakarta are increasingly high, so in conditions like this there is no other choice but to change sustainably." Agus said.

In line with this, Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that this achievement would encourage Bank Jakarta to strengthen its foundation in continuing its transformation into an innovative and adaptive bank. "Through various initiative steps, Bank Jakarta is optimistic that it can continue to accelerate, and take a bigger role than just a bank, namely as an enabler of Jakarta's growth as a global city," concluded Arie.
