Bank DKI Records MSME Credit and Financing Growth of 15.54% in Q3/2024

Jakarta – Bank DKI reported credit and financing growth in the MSME sector of 15.54% Year-on-Year (YoY), from IDR 4.93 trillion in September 2023 to IDR 5.70 trillion in September 2024. This growth includes an increase of 14.33% in the micro segment, which rose from IDR 3.27 trillion in September 2023 to IDR 3.74 trillion in the same period in 2024. Segment SMEs also experienced a significant increase of 17.91%, from IDR 1.66 trillion in September 2023 to IDR 1.96 trillion this year.

This increase strengthens Bank DKI's position in supporting national and regional economic stability, as well as confirming the company's commitment to contributing to the development of the MSME sector. "Bank DKI focuses on providing quality and sustainable credit, supporting national economic resilience through the MSME sector," said Bank DKI President Director, Agus H. Widodo.

Bank DKI is also optimistic that it can achieve positive growth by the end of 2024 by carrying out various internal consolidations, including improving systems and business processes. This is balanced with an emphasis on the principle of prudence in credit distribution.

Overall, Bank DKI's total credit and financing grew by 9.55% from IDR 49.96 trillion in September 2023 to IDR 54.73 trillion in September 2024, with the Gross NPL ratio remaining maintained at the level of 2.21%. The commercial segment recorded positive growth of 10.29% YoY, increasing from IDR 23.45 trillion to IDR 25.86 trillion.

Director of Finance & Strategy at Bank DKI, Romy Wijayanto, said that banking conditions in the midst of tight interest rate competition remain well managed. Bank DKI focuses on maintaining adequate liquidity, with a Loan to Deposit ratio (LDR) of 86.19%, AL/NCD of 103.24%, AL/DPK of 18.14%, and NSFR of 104.17%.

Apart from that, Bank DKI continues to make efforts to increase Third Party Funds (DPK) through optimizing cheap funds and repricing expensive funds. Until September 2024, DPK reached IDR 63.50 trillion, relatively stable compared to last year.

With these various achievements, until the end of Q3/2024, Bank DKI's total assets increased by 3.19%, to IDR 80.74 trillion compared to IDR 78.24 trillion in September 2023. Consistent, continuous business expansion also contributed to an increase in net profit of IDR 513.23 billion.
