Strengthening Human Resource Transformation, Bank DKI Inaugurates Learning Center
Jakarta, May 15 2023Jakarta – Bank DKI fully inaugurated the Learning Center facility, which is a training and employee competency development institution. The Grand Launching Ceremony of the Bank DKI Learning Center was held on Friday, May 12 2023, and was also attended by the Acting (Pj.) Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for DKI Jakarta Province, Dr. Arlyana Abubakar, Head of BPBUMD DKI Jakarta, Dr. Nasrudin Djoko Surjono as well as DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officials, BUMD Management, Bank DKI strategic partner management, one of which is the Indonesian Banking Development Institute (LPPI) as well as Commissioners and Directors of Bank DKI. The inauguration of this Learning Center is part of Bank DKI's commitment to prepare competent human resources with strong character to face banking challenges in the future.
Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy said that this inauguration was a very important momentum for Bank DKI in presenting an innovative and modern learning center as part of Bank DKI's Transformation. Moreover, Bank DKI employees as of April 2023 number 3,778 people, with details of 2,223 people or 59% of whom are the millennial generation, 28% are generation Z and the remaining 14% are generation X as mentors for young employees. "The Bank DKI Learning Center is a center for preparing professional bankers who will become the next generation towards a Golden Indonesia in 2045." Fidri said.
On the same occasion, while directly inspecting a number of facilities at the Bank DKI Learning Center, the Acting (Pj.) Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono expressed his congratulations and appreciation for the inauguration of the Bank DKI Learning Center. "Congratulations on the inauguration of the Bank DKI Learning Center, as a training institution that can improve services to customers, so that in the future Bank DKI can become a model for other banks." Heru said.
With the vision of becoming a Quality HR Competency Development Center that is able to provide professional, adaptive and characterful people so that they can encourage sustainable performance growth, the Bank DKI Learning Center located on Jalan Wijaya I, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, has been developed and carried out a soft launch since 2020. Built with a millennial, cozy and hi-tech concept, the Bank DKI Learning Center stands on an area of 1,200 square meters with 4 floors equipped with a number of facilities. Support includes: a comfortable and contemporary training room with Wi-Fi and LED Screen, Mini Bank Lab, Dining Area, Lounge, Computer Room, Assessment Room, Instructor Room, and Studio Area. Apart from that, supporting facilities such as ATMs, Bank DKI Service Offices, Mosques and parking lots are also provided to add to the comfort of learning activities at the Bank DKI Learning Center. Including the development of a learning platform with the latest information technology, namely the Learning Management System (LMS) application as a means of independent and flexible learning, as well as technology-based infrastructure that enables online or hybrid learning. Apart from that, the curriculum is built to keep up with the times and is accompanied by experienced teaching instructors.
The Bank DKI Learning Center has also succeeded in obtaining a Job Training Institution Registration Certificate from the DKI Jakarta Province Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Service. With the receipt of this decision letter, the Bank DKI Learning Center has been recognized as a Job Training Unit that is competent in issuing Training Certificates in the field of Payment Systems and Rupiah Currency Management (SPPUR) as well as organizing Job Training Programs in the SPPUR field.
Furthermore, Fidri said that the inauguration of the Bank DKI Learning Center was an effort made by the company to face future challenges through an information technology approach. Apart from preparing the Learning Center, Bank DKI has also carried out various improvements and developments in the field of Human Resources, including improving policies, increasing and recognizing employee competence through certification, promotional opportunities, improving career paths, as well as improving worker welfare and various other employee engagement programs. "We are preparing a big plan to make the Bank DKI Learning Center a Corporate University which is a certified HR competency development institution, not only for Bank DKI internals, including BUMD and other BUMN, but also the general public," said Fidri.
On the same occasion, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that Bank DKI places important attention on human resource management by implementing various strategic initiatives including the digitalization approach. Starting from the online recruitment process, managing worker data automatically through the Human Capital Information System (HCIS), managing employee absences in real time with the JakTeam application, to increasing worker capabilities and competencies through training with the latest and digital-based curriculum through the JakLearning application as well as various policy and organizational changes aimed at increasing employee competence, engagement and culture.
