Bank DKI Supports BWM Pondok Karya Pembangunan Banking Services

Bank DKI, through the Sharia Business Unit, collaborates with the Pondok Karya Pembangunan (PKP) Foundation to support the establishment of a Micro Waqf Bank as a form of commitment to supporting the empowerment of small communities in the Islamic Boarding School environment with a group and mentoring pattern, so as to maximize the role of Islamic boarding schools for the productive economy. The inauguration of the Micro Waqf Bank was carried out by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'aruf Amin, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Ahmad Riza Patria, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority, Wimboh Santoso, Head of the Financial Services Authority Regional Office 1 Jakarta & Banten, Dhani Gunawan Idat, Head of Bank Indonesia DKI Jakarta Representative Office, Onny Widjanarko, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Laznas BSM, Hery Gunardi, President Director of PT Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, Director of MSE Credit & Sharia Business, Babay Parid Wazdi, and General Chair of PKP DKI Jakarta, K.H. Amidhan Shaberah and Chairman of the Micro Waqf Bank, Sukesti Martono in Jakarta (24/03).
The President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, said that Bank DKI's support includes establishment capital, working capital and operations of the Pondok Karya Pembangunan Micro Waqf Bank. The presence of Bank DKI at Pondok Karya Pembangunan is certainly expected to support financial management in the PKP Islamic boarding school environment. It is hoped that the presence of the Micro Waqf Bank will also encourage sharia financial inclusion for the surrounding community.
Fidri said that Bank DKI is also ready to encourage the digitalization of the Pondok Karya Pembangunan Micro Waqf Bank and the entire ecosystem in Islamic boarding schools through various digital banking products provided by Bank DKI. In the future, by using Bank DKI's digital banking services, Micro Waqf Bank and members can enjoy easy transactions in various ecosystems that have been built by Bank DKI.
Bank DKI has a variety of digital products such as e-Form Micro Finance, JakOne Abank, e-Order, and scan to pay QRIS which can support the development of MSME members of Pondok Karya Pembangunan Micro Waqf Bank, from financing to ease of transactions. Micro Waqf Bank members can utilize the Combo Debit Card product as a member card that can be used for various transactions at merchants with EDC GPN, Transjakarta, Vending Machine, Ancol and toll roads. Meanwhile, on the financing facilities side, Bank DKI is digitalizing by providing financing facilities supported by digitizing services such as e-Form Micro Finance which is an online Bank DKI Micro Financing application service.
It is hoped that the synergy between Bank DKI and the government in the Micro Waqf Bank program can be a sustainable solution in alleviating poverty and economic inequality.
