Consistently Encouraging Transformation, Bank DKI Wins the 2024 Indonesia Living Legend Companies Awards

Jakarta – Starting the beginning of 2024, Bank DKI succeeded in winning the Gold Living Legend Company award in Enhancing Digital Based Service Development to Support Corporate Transformation (Category: Gold) by Warta Ekonomi media, at the Indonesia Living Legend Companies Awards 2024, which was held in Jakarta on Wednesday (31/1).

The 2024 Indonesia Living Legend Companies Award is a form of appreciation from Warta Ekonomi media for companies from multi-industry which are considered legendary in Indonesia, which are able to survive and maximize their potential in developing their business sustainably, and are considered successful in overcoming all challenges in a dynamic business environment.

Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Principal Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, through an official statement, said that this award was a valuable appreciation for Bank DKI's role as a DKI Jakarta BUMD which is considered to consistently have operational excellence, product innovation and provide social meaning.

"This success not only reflects business achievements, but also emphasizes Bank DKI's contribution to continuing to improve digital service standards, making it one of the actors in the digital transformation of banking in Indonesia, especially in DKI Jakarta," said Amirul.

Amirul also added, Bank DKI continues to carry out transformation steps oriented towards digital aspects, as a key effort to continue to survive in the face of business dynamics. "Bank DKI continues to be adaptive to maintain business continuity, as well as maintaining its role in contributing to economic growth, and full support for MSME capital, especially in DKI Jakarta in the midst of difficult conditions such as the pandemic several years ago."

The 2024 Indonesia Living Legend Awards has the theme "Maximizing Potential to Survive in a Dynamic Business Environment". Present as a keynote speaker, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for 2004-2009 and 2014-2019 Jusuf Kalla emphasized that changes in the current business world must be able to be conquered by prioritizing a number of principles that must be implemented consistently. "There are many changes but in the end who survives? It is all of us (the award recipients) who are sitting here, who have the basic principles to survive, always looking to the future, what are the needs of society, its essence and efficiency," said Jusuf Kalla.

The curation and assessment system for the 2024 Indonesia Living Legend Awards uses a desk research approach, namely assessing the financial performance of related companies based on the 2022-2023 annual report or 2021-2023 financial report published by the company. Apart from that, there is also an assessment using monitoring media which is carried out qualitatively to assess the company's strategic policies by analyzing the number of positive reports related to the company's performance.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that this award is an incentive for all Bank DKI employees to provide the best performance for Bank DKI products and services to continue to grow sustainably.
