The bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government apparently still has several ATM machines with a denomination of IDR 20,000, one of which is located at the DKI Jakarta City Hall. When confirmed by media crew in Jakarta (07/02), Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini confirmed this.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini said, "We still provide ATM cash withdrawal services in the Rp. 20,000 denomination to accommodate the needs of the community, including students of student age, such as recipients of the Jakarta Smart Card and the Jakarta Excellent Student Card. Therefore, we have placed a number of ATMs with this denomination in several segmented locations such as at Pamulang University."
As of February 2020, Bank DKI has 1085 ATM machines spread across Bank DKI Service Offices, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Offices, BUMD Offices, Private Institutions and Hospitals, Public Facilities, Shopping Centers and Mobile Cash Cars. Bank DKI ATMs also provide routine bill payment features such as telephone, electricity, telecommunications products, insurance premiums, Land and Building Tax, and extension of Motor Vehicle Tax.
Even though he provides ATMs for IDR 20,000 denominations, Herry still recommends carrying out non-cash transactions, one of which is using JakOne Mobile.
