Bank Jakarta Again Supports the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Free Homecoming Program

Jakarta – Bank Jakarta again supports the Eid Free Homecoming Program in 2026 which is implemented by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Transportation Service. This support was realized by Bank Jakarta in the form of providing 20 buses for various homecoming purposes which were dispatched with a total of 744 buses departed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung together with the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo, and the Main Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo along with a number of DKI Jakarta BUMD Directors at Silang Monas, Jakarta (17/03).

President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H Widodo, explained that this support is Bank Jakarta's commitment to providing support for safe and comfortable homecoming transportation for the people of DKI Jakarta. As DKI Jakarta BUMD, said Agus, Bank Jakarta's support in the Eid 2026 Free Homecoming program is a form of ongoing synergy with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to provide convenience for residents, especially in supporting people who want to return home to their hometowns.

The Free Homecoming Program is an annual program organized by the Transportation Department to provide DKI Jakarta residents with the opportunity to go home for free to meet their families. The number of buses prepared by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for free homecoming in 2026 is 744 buses, an increase from the initial plan of 667. This increase in the number of fleets is due to the increase in DKI Jakarta residents going home to 33,000 homecoming passengers from the initial estimate of 26,000 passengers.

For information, Bank Jakarta provides a total of 20 buses to Semarang, Solo, Lampung, Sidoarjo, Kediri, Yogyakarta, Purwokerto and Wonogiri. This number has increased compared to the buses provided by Bank Jakarta last year. Apart from Bank Jakarta, a number of BUMDs that also support free homecoming are PT Transportation Jakarta, PT MRT Jakarta, PT LRT Jakarta, PAM Jaya and PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol.

Apart from supporting the free homecoming program, Bank Jakarta also provides a Bank Jakarta Homecoming Post which is located in Rest Area KM 429 Semarang from 14 to 20 March 2026. This post is prepared to provide rest facilities and services for homecoming travelers who travel to various areas on the island of Java. Through this post, travelers can take advantage of various facilities such as rest areas, massage chairs, free WiFi and free chargers. Apart from that, Bank Jakarta also presents various attractive promos and programs that travelers can take advantage of, such as special souvenirs for opening an account, to cashback for transactions using QRIS via JakOne Mobile Bank Jakarta.
