Jakarta – As part of its commitment to improving the quality of information security, Bank DKI has successfully received ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System Certification for Providing JakOne Mobile Super Apps Services from TUV Rheinland Indonesia. The event for handing over international standard certificates in the field of information technology which took place on Wednesday, August 31 2022, was also attended by Roberto Akyuwen as Head of OJK Regional Office 1 DKI Jakarta and Banten, and Onny Widjanarko as Head of BI Representative for DKI Jakarta Province. This certification was handed over by Edmundus Wiharyono as Director of TUV Rheinland Indonesia to Amirul Wicaksono as Director of Technology and Operations at Bank DKI.

Director of Technology & Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono said, "Through this certification, Bank DKI has made an important commitment to fulfill regulations such as Bank Indonesia Regulations (PBI), Financial Services Authority Regulations (POJK), as well as National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency Regulations (BSSN), considering that banks are a strategic industry that must protect customer data and services, especially in implementing Cyber ​​Security."

Amirul further said that ISO 27001 helps Bank DKI in managing and mitigating risks or security threats, which is expected to increase customer and work partner confidence in using Bank DKI products and services, especially digital banking products such as the JakOne Mobile application.

For your information, ISO 27001 is an international standard regarding information security that can help organizations in building and implementing a comprehensive information security management system, covering aspects of policy & governance, HR, Technology and management involvement.

In the process of achieving ISO 27001, Bank DKI started by determining the scope, especially JakOne Mobile digital services and important data for Bank DKI's business that must be protected. Next, a gap analysis was carried out to get an overview/portrait of the information security conditions at Bank DKI and make comparisons according to ISO standard provisions including aspects of people, process & technology. The next stage, Bank DKI will carry out gap fulfillment and internal audits, and then carry out a certification audit with TUV Rheinald as an accredited institution in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Bank DKI continues to increase the ease and comfort of transactions through the development of the New Jakone Mobile application with a more attractive and user friendly UI/UX display and increasingly complete features, starting from paying various bills and online shopping, topping up electronic money, giving alms/donating to others to securing emergency funds through opening deposits and opening savings accounts online as well as Scan by QRIS transactions.

As of the second quarter of 2022, JakOne Mobile application users have reached 1.7 million users with a nominal transaction amount reaching IDR 9.1 trillion, and transaction volume reaching 10.8 million transactions. QRIS transactions via JakOne Mobile also grew 742% (yoy) to IDR 22.4 billion compared to the second quarter of 2021 of IDR 2.6 billion.

The acceptance of ISO 27001:2013 concerning Information Security Management Systems adds to the list of international standard certifications received by Bank DKI. Previously, Bank DKI had received and implemented ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification regarding provisions for procurement and management of fixed assets, as well as SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP). This is proof that the governance process running at Bank DKI will continue to be improved and refer to applicable international standards.

Bank DKI as a financial services institution in the banking sector is obliged to protect customer data and JakOne Mobile services as the main superior digital banking product. "Since it was developed and launched in 2017, we want JakOne mobile to not only be able to answer customers' digital banking transaction needs, but also be able to compete as a superior mobile banking application with continuously improved reliability, comfort and security," concluded Amirul.

Bank DKI Receives Infobank Award 2022

Simultaneously with receiving the ISO 27001:2013 certificate regarding Information Security Management Systems, Bank DKI also succeeded in winning 3 awards at the prestigious 27th Infobank Awards, namely Special Performance Bank in the Core Capital Bank Group (KBMI) 2 category with assets of IDR 50 Trillion to Under IDR 100 Trillion, Golden Trophy (Performance Predicate "Very Good" for 5 Consecutive Years and Performance Predicate "Very Good" in the KBMI 2 category (Assets IDR 50 Trillion to Under IDR 100 Trillion).
