Winning 6 Categories in the Digital Brand Award, Bank DKI's Digital Banking Products are Increasingly in Demand

Published: 03 June 2021

Bank DKI's consistency in providing easy transactions to customers through digital banking products received appreciation at the 2021 Infobank Digital Brand Awards. The bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government received awards in 6 categories at once. The awards include the corporate brand category for Bank DKI and the Sharia Business Unit (UUS) of Bank DKI, product brand for savings products, ATM cards, card-based electronic money and Home Ownership Credit (KPR). "This award is a sign that Bank DKI products are becoming increasingly well known and increasingly in demand by the public," said Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini in a written statement in Jakarta (02/06).

This award was given by Infobank Magazine to players in the financial industry in innovating and developing the value and quality of digital-based products and services in 2020. Herry further expressed his thanks to all customers and work partners who have trusted various digital banking products and services from Bank DKI. He also said that this award would boost Bank DKI's enthusiasm to continue to encourage digital banking as the key to increasing competitiveness in the current digital era.

Herry also said that Bank DKI continues to carry out various innovations in developing digital banking products and services, including the ease of applying for a Griya Monas KPR anytime and anywhere via the consumer loan e-form application which can be accessed via eform.bankdki.co.id. By using this application, credit applicants can check the credit application process that is being submitted. Customers can also apply for Bank DKI Multipurpose Credit via the Bank DKI consumer loan e-form application. "Customers only need to access the consumer loan e-form, select the type of credit they want, fill in the application and personal data and then the application can be processed," said Herry.

Bank DKI also received awards in the categories of electronic money products, ATM cards and Monas Savings. Herry said that a number of innovations in these three products continue to be carried out, including providing convenience to Bank DKI Monas Savings holders and also other savings products in the form of Combo Cards, namely Bank DKI ATM and debit cards which can also be used as JakCards. Apart from being enjoyed by general customers, the convenience of combo cards can also be enjoyed by Jakarta Smart Plus Card holders and various recipients of Social Assistance from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The Social Assistance Card issued by Bank DKI is also integrated with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government system so that various other subsidy programs such as cheap food subsidies and transportation subsidies can be implemented on target.

JakCard, a prepaid card issued by Bank DKI, has been widely used as an e-ticket for various modes of public service transportation such as TransJakarta, Micro Trans, JakLingko Angkot, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, and even airport/Railink trains. JakCard is also the main means of payment in various tourist areas owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government such as Ancol, Ragunan Wildlife Park, Monas, Planetarium and various museums. Apart from that, JakCard can now be used as access to inner-city toll roads in DKI Jakarta. JakCard holders can use JakOne Mobile from their NFC-enabled smartphone to top up their JakCard balance in just a few easy steps. As of the end of April 2021, the number of JakCards in circulation reached 6.2 million cards.

Not to forget, Bank DKI's Sharia Business Unit also received an award at the Digital Brand Awards in the Conventional Commercial Bank Sharia Business Unit category. UUS Bank DKI provides various sharia financial solutions such as Hajj and Umrah (Taharoh) savings. UUS Bank DKI is also trusted to carry out collaborations which include the integration of electronic money (JakOne Pay) for digital zakat, infaq and sadaqah payment services. Apart from that, UUS Bank DKI also provides products and services such as iB Savings, iB Deposits, and iB Current Accounts.

"We continue to be present among the people of DKI Jakarta, providing easy non-cash transactions through various digital banking products and services from Bank DKI," concluded Herry.
