Strengthening Digital Financial Literacy, Bank DKI Collaborates with Pasar Jaya through Literacy Forum Synergy
Jakarta, November 16 2023Jakarta – Increasing financial literacy, especially digital banking services for business actors in the market environment, Bank DKI collaborated with Perumda Pasar Jaya and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), through the DKI Jakarta Synergy Forum with the theme "Maximizing the Role of the Market as the Heart of the Regional Economy" and facilitated by Jawa Pos media in Jakarta on Tuesday (14/11). The forum also served as a forum for discussion for all stakeholders because it was attended by a number of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officials as well as around 300 business actors consisting of market heads and traders from 153 markets in Jakarta.
Also present on this occasion was the Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Director (Plt.) of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, who was also a speaker at the seminar with the theme "The Important Role and Functions of QRIS and Digital Banking for Market Business Actors". Apart from that, also present were the Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono, as well as the Main Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Agus Himawan along with the Board of Directors of Perumda Pasar Jaya.
Amirul said that digitalization is an aspect that cannot be avoided, especially in daily transaction needs, including in the market environment. "The public, especially traders and market visitors, are now making things easier with digital banking services. In this case, Bank DKI has presented a non-cash payment ecosystem through the JakOne Abank application, JakOne Merchant, implementing payments via QRIS, and digitizing payments in other facilities in the market environment as a form of support for market traders/MSME players," said Amirul.
Apart from the DKI Jakarta Synergy Forum seminar, on the same occasion, a collaboration was signed on Managing Merchant Payments through MPOS Bank DKI which was carried out by the Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Main Director (Plt) of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono and the Main Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Agus Himawan. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that traders and market visitors can make non-cash transactions easily and safely. Apart from that, it will be easier for traders to record daily transactions.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said that Bank DKI continues to be committed to providing ease of banking service transactions through the market digitalization program, which is also carried out in collaboration with Perumda Pasar Jaya.
