Making Kiosk Rental Easier for Traders, Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya Launch JaKios

Jakarta – Bank DKI, in collaboration with Perumda Pasar Jaya and PakeKTP launched the "JaKios" application as an effort to make it easier for prospective traders to be able to rent kiosk units in markets under the auspices of Perumda Pasar Jaya. Through the Jakios application, prospective traders can obtain information on kiosk availability, rental prices, as well as make reservations and payments. The launch of the "JaKios" application was held in Jakarta (21/03) with the title "Launching the JaKios Application & Digitalization of the Kramat Jati Market". Also present on this occasion were the Director of Technology and Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono and the Main Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Tri Prasetyo.
Director of Technology and Operations at Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, said that JaKios is the embodiment of digitalization aimed at business actors, especially MSMEs in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta. Therefore, apart from collaborating with Perumda Pasar Jaya, Bank DKI is also collaborating with PakeKTP as a strategic partner in order to support the digital transformation of traditional markets. "The application resulting from this collaboration is expected to encourage business growth through efficient use of technology," said Amirul.
For information, the "JaKios" application, which can now be accessed via Google Playstore, is an application to make it easier for prospective traders to rent kiosks or business premises (TU) rented by Perumda Pasar Jaya. Through the "JaKios" application, prospective traders can see available business premises at the desired market location. Apart from that, prospective traders can see a floor plan to estimate needs and photos of the kiosk to get information on the condition of the kiosk they want to rent. The "JaKios" application comes in 2 payment options, namely via scan to pay QRIS Bank DKI or via Bank DKI Virtual Account.
On the same occasion, at Kramat Jati Market, which was the location of the pilot project for the "JaKios" application, S.I.A.P QRIS was also implemented, which is a digitalization program in the market environment promoted by Bank Indonesia. As a form of support for this program, Bank DKI is encouraging the implementation of a payment ecosystem through the implementation of QRIS, payments via EDC machines, and the JakOne Abank application which is expected to encourage increased financial inclusion.
Meanwhile, under the leadership of the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, Bank DKI has carried out a number of market digitizations, namely Santa Market, Grass Market, Kedoya Market, Koja Market, Perumnas Klender, Kebayoran Lama Market and Ciracas Market. It is recorded that as of February 2023, Bank DKI has had more than 23 thousand merchants who have joined Bank DKI's JakOne Mobile QRIS service with transactions reaching IDR 63 billion.
Amirul further said that this market digitalization program is also expected to be able to encourage economic growth in DKI Jakarta through the creation of a digital ecosystem. "The implementation of digital transactions in the market, apart from providing convenience, comfort and safety for traders and market visitors. This is also encouraged by the community who are helped by the use of daily non-cash transaction services," said Amirul.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said that Bank DKI will continue to expand the application of digitalization in realizing non-cash transactions in the DKI Jakarta area through synergy and collaboration with strategic parties. "Bank DKI hopes that, through the launch of the "JaKios" application and the Kramat Jati Market digitalization program, it can provide the benefits of ease of transactions in the market through digital banking services," concluded Arie.
