UNS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si welcomed the opening of Bank Jakarta KCP UNS on campus. "We hope that by opening this sub-branch office it can provide benefits and ease of transactions for students. Apart from that, there will also be attractive products for students," said Hartono.
Meanwhile, the Main Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H. Widodo, in his official statement said that the opening of KCP UNS was part of Bank Jakarta's strategy to be closer to the campus community and the younger generation. Our presence in the UNS environment is also part of efforts to expand financial inclusion and strengthen financial literacy among students," said Agus.
Bank Jakarta offers a variety of banking service facilities at KCP UNS, ranging from account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal transactions, to digital banking and financing facilities. As part of the education ecosystem, Bank Jakarta also provides Single Tuition Fee (UKT) payment services through virtual accounts and JakOne Mobile mobile banking, to simplify the student financial administration process. In addition, Bank Jakarta actively prepares digital financial promotion and education programs for new students every academic year, including providing QRIS services in various tenants and campus activity areas so that non-cash transactions can be carried out more easily, safely and efficiently.
Meanwhile, one of the students, Widi Nugroho, assessed that the presence of Bank Jakarta KCP UNS not only made financial matters easier, but also encouraged them to learn to manage finances wisely. "We see it as a form of synergy between the world of education and financial institutions to create a young generation that is financially intelligent and economically independent," he said.
"Especially previously regarding UKT payments, opening an account sometimes took time because you had to go out. Now we can handle various transactions more easily and efficiently," said Widi Nugroho.
Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, added that Bank Jakarta strives to remain relevant to the younger generation, especially students as part of an active digital society and a high need for financial services. "We want Bank Jakarta to be present not only as a banking service provider, but also as a partner for the younger generation in managing their finances wisely. Through its presence on campus, we want to raise awareness of financial literacy from an early age while introducing Bank Jakarta digital services that are practical and suit their needs," concluded Arie.
The presence of Bank Jakarta KCP UNS is a concrete step in strengthening its position as a regional bank that is modern, innovative and oriented towards public services. Collaboration with educational institutions such as UNS is also part of Bank Jakarta's long-term strategy to build an inclusive and sustainable financial ecosystem.
