Supporting National Food Security, Bank DKI Distributes IDR 1.1 Trillion Credit to RNI

Supporting national food security, Bank DKI disbursed working capital credit of IDR 1.1 trillion to PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) ("RNI") consisting of a Revolving Working Capital Credit facility of IDR 700 billion and additional credit facilities of IDR 400 billion. The signing of the credit agreement was carried out by Bank DKI Finance Director, Romy Wijayanto and RNI Finance Director, Thomas Hadinata in Jakarta (22/12).
Bank DKI Finance Director, Romy Wijayanto, said, "This credit distribution is intended as additional working capital for food commodity trading businesses and also includes agro-industry, and can be used for working capital for RNI subsidiaries."
Furthermore, Romy explained, "In the food industry, RNI will become the holding company for Food BUMN so that with the support of working capital, it is hoped that RNI will become one of the BUMNs that can be relied on to increase national food security and maintain price stability for food commodity products produced or traded by RNI."
Previously, Bank DKI had also distributed credit to RNI and its subsidiaries, which included cooperation in the use of banking products and services through payroll and Multi-Purpose Credit with the Rajawali I Sugar Factory (PG) in 2021, distribution of Working Capital Credit to the Rajawali 1 Sugar Factory (PG) amounting to IDR 300 billion in 2021, and distribution of Working Capital Credit of IDR 150 billion to PT Rajawali Nusindo in 2019 and is still ongoing. until now.
"Bank DKI's credit distribution to Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia is a collaborative effort between BUMN and BUMD to support national food security, as well as to support RNI's preparation as the parent holding company for Food BUMN," concluded Romy.
