Consistently Maintaining Growth, Bank DKI Wins the 2023 Business Indonesia Financial Award
Jakarta, August 29 2023Jakarta – Bank DKI's consistency in maintaining positive performance amidst challenging economic conditions has succeeded in winning the Best Performance Bank award for the Regional Development Bank (BPD) category with assets above IDR 30 trillion at the 2023 Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award (BIFA). "With the trust given, we continue to strive to provide banking service solutions to the entire community, with a focus on consistent performance growth," said the Director of Technology & Operations and Acting President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono in a written statement in Jakarta (24/8).
The Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award (BIFA) 2023 is an award event for industry players who are able to survive, transform and maintain performance after the Covid-19 pandemic, with this year's theme "Financial Digitalization: Inclusive and Sustainable". The assessment is based on company report data which is then processed, analyzed and determined through an independent jury trial. Meanwhile, the assessment for the banking sector is divided into two main criteria, namely The Best Performance Bank and The Most Efficient Bank, and then regrouped into 8 award categories, namely KBMI 4, KBMI 3, KBMI 2, KBMI 1, and BPD assets of more than IDR 30 trillion, BPD assets between IDR 15 trillion to IDR 30 trillion, BPD assets under IDR 15 trillion, and sharia banks.
For information, up to June 2023, Bank DKI recorded credit and financing performance growth of 14.82% to IDR 50.11 trillion, from IDR 43.64 trillion in the same period the previous year. This growth is in line with the growth of Third Party Funds (DPK) which grew by 9.91% to IDR 66.75 trillion in June 2023, from IDR 60.73 trillion in June 2022. Despite these various achievements, up to June 2023 Bank DKI continued its positive growth trend by posting a net profit of IDR 477.88 billion.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, on a different occasion added that the Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award received again this year further strengthens Bank DKI's steps to continue to innovate, and present products and services that are banking service solutions for the community. "This award is an encouragement for all Bank DKI employees to continue to maintain the company's performance so that it remains solid, and continue to provide innovation in various fields, especially in terms of service to customers."
Bank DKI also consistently collaborates in the context of sustainable growth through a digital ecosystem powered by various platforms such as the JakOne Mobile super apps, JakOne Pay simple apps, and JakOne Abank and other services such as the Cash Management System, as well as online credit and financing application applications via the Multipurpose Credit (KMG) e-form. In terms of card-based non-cash transaction services, Bank DKI continues to expand its acceptance of JakCard which functions as an electronic money card in various DKI Jakarta transportation modes, entrance tickets to a number of museums, and transactions at various merchants. Including the newly launched JakErte feature which makes it easy to handle administration at the Neighborhood Unit (RT) level online and is integrated with the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application.
