Bank DKI Collaborates with Bank NTT in the Context of Expanding Non-cash Transactions

Jakarta – In the spirit of collaboration and realizing the expansion of the implementation of non-cash transactions throughout Indonesia through BPD-SI synergy, Bank DKI signed a collaboration to expand acceptance and co-branding of JakCard with Bank NTT. The signing, which was signed by the Retail & Sharia Director of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi and the Main Director of Bank NTT, Harry Alexander Riwu Kaho, is a continuation of the realization of the synergy between Bank DKI and Bank NTT which previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for digital payments through co-branding of electronic money and digital applications. This was conveyed by the Director of Retail & Sharia at Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi in NTT (17/07).
Babay Parid said, "Bank DKI welcomes the collaboration between Bank DKI and Bank NTT as part of the BPD-SI synergy in the context of expanding non-cash transactions throughout Indonesia." In this collaboration, Bank DKI will provide JakCard Co-Branding with a design determined by Bank NTT. Apart from that, Bank NTT can use digital platforms or Bank DKI's E-channel products which will be integrated with JakCard as Bank DKI's prepaid card. It can be used by various merchants who have collaborated with Bank NTT and vice versa.
For your information, the development of Bank DKI's JakCard electronic money card began in 2007 when the JakCard permit was first issued. Until 2021, JakCard can be used to meet the non-cash transaction needs of its users, such as transportation tickets for the MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, Railink and the Mikrotrans network. Apart from that, JakCard can also be used as an entrance ticket to various tourist locations and for payments to various merchants. JakCard's performance until 2021 alone has reached 3.8 million cards in circulation with a transaction volume reaching IDR 10.5 billion.

As for the second quarter of 2022, QRIS transactions via Bank DKI digital services grew 742% (yoy) to IDR 22.4 billion compared to the second quarter of 2021 of IDR 2.6 billion. Apart from QRIS transactions, up to the second quarter of 2022, the number of JakOne Mobile users has also reached 1.7 million users, with a nominal transaction amount of Rp. 9.1 trillion, and transaction volume reached 10.8 million transactions.
