Jakarta – In order to increase insight and knowledge, especially for cadets/cadets and Bank DKI employees, the Institute for Internal Government (IPDN) collaborated with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank DKI, to hold a workshop with the theme "The Role of the OJK in Maintaining Regional Economic Stability" at the Bank DKI Learning Center Building in Jakarta on Friday (27/10).

This workshop was also a perspective study visit activity on the Banking and Non-Bank Financial Institutions course, and was also attended by the President Commissioner (Independent) of Bank DKI, Bahrullah Akbar, Director of Technology & Operations and also Acting. President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, Banking Supervisor and Member of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Dian Ediana Rae, and Head of the Financial Services Authority Regional Office 1 Jakarta and Banten, Roberto Akyuwen as workshop speakers.

Director of Technology & Operations and Acting Principal Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, explained that the theme "OJK's Role in Maintaining Regional Economic Stability" is a commitment and educational effort aimed at increasing financial knowledge and skills for the younger generation, who will later be able to play an active role in building economic stability in the region. "Bank DKI is committed to always synergizing with the OJK and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in maintaining regional economic stability to contribute to economic growth in DKI Jakarta," said Arie.

Previously, in an effort to encourage financial literacy and inclusion, Bank DKI has actively held a number of activities, including the Bank DKI Digital Island People's Party to introduce digital products and services in the Thousand Islands region, a financial literacy education program by providing training for more than 500 assisted MSMEs (Jakpreneur) of the East Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-Department, and participation in the 2023 Indonesia Savings Day Peak Event in Banten Province.
