Presenting a Variety of Digital Payment Transaction Innovations, Bank DKI Wins the 2023 Indonesia Best Bank Awards

Jakarta - Bank DKI succeeded in winning the "Indonesia Best Bank 2023 for The Ease of Payment for Daily Needs (Category: KBMI 2, BPD) award, in line with Bank DKI's commitment and consistency in providing various digital banking services that facilitate people's daily transactions. This award was received virtually by the Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono in Jakarta (29/7). "This award is dedicated to all stakeholders, customers, especially growing business partners, and doing business with Bank DKI," said Amirul.

Amirul further conveyed that this award was a valuable appreciation for Bank DKI's digital transformation efforts and commitment to expanding the reach of financial services to customers. "Including collaboration steps, entities, government, BUMD, BUMN, and other private sectors," said Amirul.

The President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, on a different occasion said that the presence of various digital products and services at Bank DKI is the company's commitment to responding to challenges in the era of digitalization and efforts to improve the company's positive performance. "Digital shifting is something that cannot be separated from the company's efforts to welcome changes in people's behavior, especially customers who need easy, safe and comfortable banking services. So, the transformation of digital banking services continues to be our concern," said Fidri.

The 2023 Indonesia Best Bank Awards were given to financial services players through a number of assessment mechanisms, namely the desk research method with six variable aspects, namely Risk Profile, Corporate Governance, Profitability, Capital, Intermediation Performance and Digital Shifting Condition. Furthermore, media monitoring methods and expert panel methods were also carried out to strengthen candidates in receiving the award.

Dian Ediana Rae, Chief Executive of Banking Supervision at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), who was also present to give a keynote speech, expressed her appreciation for the cooperation between OJK, the banking industry, government institutions, associations and mass media which are involved in various initiatives to support the development of the banking industry. According to Dian, OJK remains committed to supporting the development of the banking industry, including various innovations in bank business operations in order to provide excellent service. "The banking industry continues to accelerate the digitalization of its products and services so that it can meet people's expectations in responding to opportunities from developments in digital technology," said Dian.

For information, Bank DKI consistently improves and develops digital banking services, including the JakOne Mobile super app, which increasingly has a variety of daily payment transaction features, starting from transfers between accounts, account opening, QRIS scanning, to Zakat and Donations. Most recently, Bank DKI has launched the JakErte feature which makes administration easier for RT administrators. Apart from that, Bank DKI also continues to develop JakOne Abank for MSME players, and other digital services such as the Cash Management System, as well as online credit/financing application applications, with digital lending applications.

In terms of non-cash transaction services using cards, Bank DKI continues to expand its acceptance of JakCard which functions as an electronic money card in various DKI Jakarta transportation modes, entrance tickets to a number of museums, and transactions at various merchants. In fact, some time ago Bank DKI launched the implementation of the use of JakCard as Commuter Line train tickets as a collaboration with PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia.

On a different occasion, Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that Bank DKI's receipt of the Indonesia Best Bank Awards 2023 was an appreciation and encouragement for the company to continue to expand financial access and increase the added value of products and services, including through various collaborative steps. "This award is an encouragement for all Bank DKI employees in presenting innovative banking services in realizing the company's achievements in becoming the bank of choice for the people of Jakarta," concluded Arie.
