Perumda Dharma Jaya: Synergy with Bank DKI Increases Business Income

Published: 23 February 2020

Director of Perumda Darma Jaya, Raditya Budiman, said that since the company was founded in 1966, it has only been in the last three years that it has been able to record business profits after being supported by capital financing from Bank DKI. This was what he conveyed on the sidelines of a seminar for Regional Development Banks (BPD) throughout Indonesia with the theme BUMD synergy.

"The income we recorded in 2018 was around IDR 94.7 billion. Since being assisted by Bank DKI in 2019, our income has reached IDR 20 billion as of January 2020," Raditya stated. The capital financing received in 2019 was intended to provide a supply of 5,311 tonnes of chicken meat and 4,753 tonnes of beef.

Apart from that, he also explained that in 2020 his party is developing a Distribution Center and Cold Warehouse in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. "Our future plans are to build a cold house with a capacity of 25 thousand tons of meat in collaboration with Bank DKI. The warehouse business is currently very profitable with business profits of up to 10 percent per year and is effective in maintaining the stability of cheap food," said Raditya.

Apart from getting credit distribution from Bank DKI, PD. Dharma Jaya together with Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya also support the Jakarta Cheap Food Program. This program, which takes place every month, sells beef for IDR 35 thousand/kg, buffalo meat IDR 30 thousand/kg, chicken meat IDR 8 thousand/kg, chicken eggs IDR 10 thousand/15 pieces, rice IDR 30 thousand/5 kg, mackerel fish IDR 13 thousand/kg, and UHT milk IDR 30 thousand/carton (24 pack).

This program targets certain community groups, including holders of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus, Jakarta Worker Card (KPJ), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (KPDJ), Public Infrastructure and Facilities Officers (PPSU) and Casual Daily Employees (PHL) with UMP income.

Cheap Food is held every Monday to Saturday at 08.00-17.00 WIB at Dharma Jaya outlets, markets managed by Perumda Pasar Jaya, JakGrosir, JakMart and Integrated Entrepreneurship Outlets. Apart from that, you can also visit a number of flats and RPTRAs that have been scheduled by the DKI Jakarta Province KPKP Service.
