Targeting Ultra Micro Businesses, Bank DKI Leads Credit & Financing Syndication of IDR 4 Trillion to PNM

Targeting ultra-micro business actors, Bank DKI led a credit & financing syndication provided to PT Permodalan Nasional Madani worth IDR 4 trillion. In this syndication, Bank DKI was appointed as the Mandated Lead Arranger as well as the Facility Agent, Collateral Agent and Escrow Agent. The signing of the syndicated credit and financing agreement was attended by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy together with the Director of Finance of Bank DKI, Romy Wijayanto, the Director of UMK & Sharia Business Credit of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi, the Director of Institutions and Planning of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani, Sunar Basuki together with the Business Director of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani, Kindaris and representatives of creditors participating in the syndication witnessed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Rasyid Baswedan, Plt. Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency, Riyadi and Head of the Economic and Financial Bureau of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Secretary, Muhammad Abas in Jakarta, (02/12).

The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Rasyid Baswedan expressed his appreciation for credit and financing syndication as a form of implementation in bringing social justice in market mechanisms, where this syndication provides access to ultra-micro, micro and small business actors. It is hoped that this syndication can increase the class of business actors, increasing the small ones without reducing the big ones. He added that this credit and financing syndication will also collaborate with government programs such as JakPreneur in developing business potential in Jakarta.

Fidri further explained that credit and financing distribution to PT Permodalan Nasonal Madani will be continued to Ultra Micro, Micro and Small Business actors who are members of the PNM Mekaar and ULaMM programs. The syndicated credit distribution scheme consists of a maximum of IDR 2.2 trillion for conventional credit and IDR 1.8 trillion for sharia financing.

For conventional credit, the largest portion was distributed by Bank Papua amounting to IDR 500 billion, Bank Jatim amounting to IDR 400 billion and Bank Sumsel Babel amounting to IDR 250 billion. Bank Sumut and Bank Kalbar distributed credit amounting to IDR 200 billion each. Bank Jateng, Bank Kaltimtara, Bank South Sulawesi and Bank Bali amounting to IDR 100 billion each, followed by Bank Sulteng, Bank Kalteng, Bank Bengkulu and Bank Maluku Malut each amounting to IDR 50 billion. The credit portion can be increased by the creditor up to the amount of the conventional syndication facility.

In terms of sharia financing, the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) distributed IDR 500 billion, Bank Jatim IDR 325 billion, Bank Sumut IDR 305 billion, Bank Aceh Syariah IDR 200 billion, Bank Kalsel IDR 150 billion, Bank Kaltimtara IDR 85 billion, Bank Sumsel Babel IDR 75 billion, followed by Bank DIY, Bank Riau and Bank Muamalat IDR 50 billion and Bank Sulselbar IDR 50 billion. IDR 10 billion.

This credit and financing syndication will later be passed on to participants in the Mekaar program, namely a capital loan service for underprivileged women who are ultra micro business actors and UlaMM, which is a capital loan service for micro and small businesses with direct financing for individuals and business entities, the number of which has reached 10.8 million ultra micro, micro and small business actors throughout Indonesia with the realization of distribution as of November 30 reaching IDR 100.86 trillion.

"With this funding, which we will pass on to PNM Mekaar and ULaMM, it is hoped that it will be able to help develop the businesses of PNM-assisted MSMEs and be able to help drive the national economy for underprivileged women and MSMEs," said Sunar Basuki, as Director of Institutions and Planning at PT PNM.

"By signing this syndicated credit agreement, it is hoped that it can become a stimulus for economic growth in the country during this pandemic. This syndication is also in line with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's hope that Bank DKI can become a facilitator of economic growth for the people in DKI Jakarta by serving more than 100 thousand MSEs in DKI Jakarta and through Bank Agents (JakOne Abank) towards Digital MSMEs in the future," said Fidri. He added, currently Bank DKI continues to accelerate micro credit distribution, which grew by 30.6% YOY with a portfolio of IDR 1.16 trillion in September 2020 to IDR 1.51 trillion in September 2021, with more than 8 thousand MSE customers.
