In the midst of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, PT Bank DKI can still record positive performance growth. As of September 2020, Bank DKI's total assets were recorded at IDR 56.68 trillion, growing 12.86% compared to the same period the previous year. This was conveyed by the Director of MSE Credit & Sharia Business at Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi in his written statement in Jakarta, (9/11).

Babay Parid, who currently doubles as Bank DKI's Finance Director, said, "apart from assets, Bank DKI's Third Party Funds as of September 2020 were also recorded to have experienced significant growth of 13.44% from IDR 38.71 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 43.91 trillion as of September 2020. Bank DKI continues to strive to increase retail funds by encouraging the use of the JakOne Mobile application. With JakOne Mobile, opening deposits & savings can be done without having to visit the office Apart from that, JakOne Mobile can also be used to pay taxes and levies as well as various daily bills.

From the credit side, Bank DKI also experienced growth of IDR 32.84 trillion as of September 2020 or an increase of 6.2% compared to the September 2019 period of IDR 30.93 trillion. A number of factors driving credit growth are micro credit which grew by 8.0% IDR 1.07 trillion as of September 2019 to IDR 1.16 trillion as of September 2020. This growth was driven by Bank DKI's efforts in distributing Monas Beginner and Monas 25 Jakpreneur loans to MSME debtors assisted by JakPreneur. "To serve the potential of the micro market which is still wide open, we are also developing a digital e-form micro loan service. Through the e-form micro loan, micro credit applications can be made anytime and anywhere," added Babay Parid.

Babay Parid added that consumer credit also experienced growth of 9.9% to IDR 15.45 trillion as of September 2020 from the same period the previous year of IDR 14.17 trillion. This is driven by Bank DKI's various efforts to increase convenience through the Bank DKI Consumer Loan e-Form digital service. Commercial & corporate credit was also recorded at IDR 15.83 trillion as of September 2020 or grew 5.4% compared to the same period the previous year of IDR 15.02 trillion. As a result, credit quality remains well maintained, as indicated by a Gross NPL ratio of 3.49% and Net NPL of 0.73% as of September 2020.

The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic which is still ongoing today has also influenced the achievement of Bank DKI's net profit. As of September 2020, Bank DKI's net profit was recorded at IDR 401.2 billion, a decrease compared to September 2019 of IDR 584 billion. This was influenced by the increase in financial instrument reserve burden until September 2020. In line with the implementation of PSAK 71 which aims to maintain asset quality and anticipate potential economic uncertainty in the future. As of September 2020, PT Bank DKI's coverage ratio was around 118.24%.

Finally, Babay Parid emphasized that in the midst of uncertain economic conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we (Bank DKI) continue to take the necessary steps to continue carrying out the intermediation function well, as well as implementing the principles of prudence and prudential banking.
