On Mother's Day, Bank DKI Collaborates with PKK to Encourage Non-Cash Transactions

Jakarta – In order to realize the implementation of non-cash transactions in the Jakarta City area and to welcome the special momentum of Mother's Day which falls on December 22 2024, Bank DKI is collaborating with Family Empowerment and Welfare Cadres and Integrated Service Post Cadres in a Mother's Day Commemoration event with PKK and Posyandu Cadres at Silang Monas, Jakarta (8/11). The event was also attended by Acting. Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, as well as a number of government officials such as the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tito Karnavian and Deputy Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Bima Arya Sugiarto.

In his official statement, the Main Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, said that Bank DKI's participation by preparing a number of prizes in non-cash form was support for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's programs, especially those that support the activities of various Regional Government Organizations, such as the PKK and Posyandu. "In particular, in commemoration of Mother's Day, Bank DKI is also presenting JakCard with a special Mother's Day edition as part of increasing awareness of the use of Electronic Money Cards for non-cash transaction needs," said Agus.

For information, the Mother's Day commemoration activity with PKK and Posyandu cadres is part of a series of activities held on 7-8 December 2024 and is a cross-agency synergy involving the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, a number of Regional Apparatus Organizations, and BUMD. In this activity, various activities were held such as free cataract surgery, blood donation, cheap market, MSME bazaar, Fun Run, Fun Walk and entertainment.

Furthermore, Agus said that by collaborating with the PKK Cadre community, Bank DKI hopes that mothers will play a role as partners in socializing the implementation of non-cash transactions starting from the family, the surrounding community and extending to the environment.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added, Bank DKI's participation in community-based activities in synergy with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, is a form of support for the big agenda of transforming Jakarta into a Global Business City. "Bank DKI plays a role in continuing to increase financial literacy and inclusion by presenting innovative financial service products, especially digital banking services, which provide benefits for the entire community, and the city of Jakarta in general," concluded Arie.
