Bank DKI Maintains Brilliant Performance to Achieve Top Infobank BUMD 2023
Jakarta, May 15 2023Jakarta – Having successfully recorded a brilliant financial performance report throughout the challenging economic period, Bank DKI won the Infobank Top BUMD 2023 award as one of the BUMDs in the financial sector with the title "Excellent". The award ceremony was held at an event entitled "Infobank Top BUMD 2023" in Yogyakarta on Thursday (11/05/2023). Through a written statement, the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, said that the award received was a very valuable appreciation for the success of all Bank DKI Management and all Employees, who succeeded in improving their financial performance which grew rapidly while remaining prudent and healthy, and were able to prove that they continued to grow positively during challenging economic conditions. "This award is also recognition of Bank DKI's commitment to developing digital-based product and service innovations, in line with the transformation focus implemented by the Company." Fidri said.
Even though the economy has not fully recovered, under the leadership of the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy, the Company was able to close 2022 with excellent performance by recording the highest net profit in the history of the Company's existence of IDR 939.11 billion or growth of 29.11%. Total assets grew to IDR 78.88 trillion, which was supported by credit growth of 23.53% and deposit growth of 12.82% in December 2022. "Alongside the momentum of economic growth, Bank DKI is focusing on a strong expansion strategy including synergy and collaboration with various parties as a commitment to encourage national economic recovery," added Fidri.
For your information, the award was given by Infobank Magazine based on the BPD, BPR and BPRS ratings carried out by the Infobank Research Bureau on financial performance in 2021 and 2022 (as of September). Several assessment criteria used by the Infobank Research Bureau to measure BUMD performance include aspects of efficiency and growth, in addition to assessing aspects of risk profile, good corporate governance (GCG), profitability and capital. Based on the assessment, the title "The Best" was given to a number of financial BUMDs consisting of 16 BPD, 41 BPR and 9 BPRS.
