Bank DKI subsidizes 1,000 basic food packages to provide cheap food in Jakarta
Jakarta, July 22 2024Supporting the realization of one of the sustainable development goals or Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Bank DKI together with Perumda Pasar Jaya organized a CSR distribution in the form of subsidies for 1,000 basic food packages in Bintaro, South Jakarta, on Friday (5/7), which was also attended by the Acting (PJ.) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Main Director of Bank DKI Agus Haryoto Widodo, and Director of Property and Markets Perumda Pasar Jaya Aristianto.
Bank DKI President Director Agus Haryoto Widodo said that Bank DKI always strives to contribute to assisting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's program in its efforts to support the realization of one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) point 2, namely creating conditions without hunger. "Through this program, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on the welfare of the community, especially DKI Jakarta, in meeting food needs," said Agus.
During this event, Bank DKI provided a subsidy of IDR 50,000 per package for 1,000 basic food packages worth IDR 150,000 per package, which contained 5 kg of premium rice, 2 liters of cooking oil, 1 kg of granulated sugar and 1 kg of wheat flour, so that the public could redeem IDR 100,000 per package. In this activity, apart from distributing CSR in the form of subsidies for 1,000 basic food packages, Bank DKI also provided a special booth to provide information to the public about the products and services offered by Bank DKI.
On a different occasion, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI will continue to strive to increase positive contributions to society through sustainable CSR programs. "Bank DKI's CSR program is not only a company obligation but also part of Bank DKI's commitment to become an agent of change that empowers the community and supports sustainable development in Jakarta," concluded Arie.
Taking Part in Handling Stunting in Jakarta. Apart from the distribution of CSR food, on the same day Friday (05/07) Bank DKI also distributed 800 eggs to SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta as an effort to support government programs related to accelerating stunting reduction as well as implementing the PT Bank DKI Sustainable Finance Action Plan program for 2024. This distribution was carried out in conjunction with the ceremonial establishment of the Pancasila Laboratory School at SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta.
