Bank DKI Achieves ISO 9001:2015 for Internal Audit Quality Management System
Jakarta, March 05 2024Jakarta – As part of its commitment to improving the quality of governance in the implementation of internal audit duties and functions, Bank DKI succeeded in achieving ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification by TUV Nord Indonesia, which was handed over in Jakarta on (05/03). The certificate was handed over by Donny Moehardono as Head of the PT TUV Nord Indonesia Certification Body to the Director of Technology and Operations and Acting Director (Plt.) of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono.
ISO 9001:2015 certification is a globally recognized standard framework for quality management, the assessment of which is based on 7 principles, including Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement (Continuous Improvement), Evidence-Based Decision Making (decision making based on data and facts), and Relationship Management (Management of relationships with stakeholders).
"Achieving ISO 9001:2015 Certification means that Bank DKI has implemented international standards on the essential function of internal audit and reflects the collective dedication and hard work of the Management team and all Bank DKI employees in an effort to improve the quality of the Company's operations, especially the internal audit system," said Amirul.
Furthermore, Amirul expressed confidence that this success would have a positive impact on increasing the Company's overall productivity and operational performance, and was optimistic that through high internal audit quality management standards, Bank DKI would be increasingly able to provide the best service and strengthen its position in the banking industry regionally and nationally.
Bank DKI has gone through a series of assessment processes so that it is determined to meet the ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit Quality Management System standard, namely Audit Stage 1 with an assessment including Review of system, Review of documented management system, Review of risk & opportunity process, and Organization knowledge, as well as Audit Stage 2 which includes interviews regarding the overall audit process with Work Unit Leaders and Division Leader level officials in the Internal Audit Work Unit, including the Information Technology Audit Division, Audit Management Division, General Audit Division, and Branch Internal Control Unit (KIC).
The acceptance of ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit Quality Management System also adds to the list of international standard certifications accepted and maintained by Bank DKI, including ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certification, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System in the Goods and Services Procurement Process, ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System in the Provision of JakOne Mobile Super Apps Services, ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System in IT Helpdesk Services, and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management System.
In line with this, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said that receiving ISO 9001:2015 Certification not only confirms the quality of Bank DKI's internal audit quality management, but also indicates the Company's readiness to face challenges and dynamic changes in the banking industry. This is also a positive step in building customer and stakeholder trust.
