Bank DKI Distributes KJP Phase I 2025 to New Recipients Totaling 43,502 Students
Jakarta, May 06 2025Jakarta – As a facilitator for the distribution of social assistance for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), especially in the education sector, Bank DKI distributed the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus Phase I 2025 to new recipients totaling 43,502 students, which was carried out for 4 days, 18 April – 21 April 2025 at various locations of Bank DKI Branch Offices/Subsidiary Branches, and schools in 5 administrative city areas of Jakarta and the Thousand Islands. Bank DKI President Director, Agus H. Widodo said that this distribution was part of the distribution of 126,000 new KJP Plus recipients as well as a continuation of the 2025 Phase I KJP Plus distribution program to 707,622 students.
KJP Plus is a flagship program of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which aims to ensure equal and inclusive access to education for all school-age children in Jakarta. The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, said that Bank DKI continues to be committed to supporting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's program in improving the quality of human resources through equal access to education. "Bank DKI continues to optimize its role as a regional development bank by ensuring that the KJP distribution process can run on time, on target and transparently," he said. Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, appealed to all KJP beneficiaries to always be careful and alert when carrying out financial transactions, especially not to give PINs and personal information to other people on behalf of Bank DKI.
Arie also informed that recipients who received funds in the previous year but did not receive them this year, can check the status of KJP receipts via the website https://edujakarta.id/cek_bansos_disdik/#form or submit a complaint to the P4OP Office of the Education Service or the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Sub-department which is spread across 44 sub-districts in DKI Jakarta. Ease of Using KJP To support comfort and ease of transactions for beneficiaries, Bank DKI provides easy use of KJP funds through various merchants who have collaborated and are equipped with Bank DKI Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machines. In this way, beneficiaries can shop for educational needs directly at various school supply stores, bookstores and other merchants who collaborate with Bank DKI.
